Peaceful Family Getaway!

New construction build completed in Spring 24’ this (4) Bed, (3) full baths and (2) half baths sits on a .5 acre, partially wooded lot located on a private road in Lakeside ideal for family visits to enjoy a peaceful getaway. The home is located two blocks from the private beach on Lake Michigan (note there are roughly 85 steps down to private beach). Public beach access (no steps) 3 min drive. House sleeps 13 - three king beds, three twin and 1 full in bunk room. There is a pull out queen sofa bed in the upstairs den with TV. All bedrooms (except bunk room) have 55” TV’s. Large screened porch with 70” TV, weather-master window system and ceiling mounted heater for colder nights. Other amenities include upstairs laundry room, gas fire pit, synthetic turf bocce/putting/recreation court, 240V EV charger (tesla), (12) Beach chairs, Lily Pad, wagon, cooler, and beach toys. Two minute drive to Union Pier restaurants, bakery and grocery store; 10 minute drive to downtown New Buffalo. If you feel this sounds like the perfect getaway please come stay in this beautiful Lakeside gem!

Our stay was everything we could have hoped for. The hosts were great with communication, even answering many questions before we booked. The house was spotless when we arrived, the kitchen was stocked with anything you could need, and the family room and 3-season rooms were great for relaxing. Even in the cold months, the outdoor firepit was a wonderful place to spend time while the kids played on the turf. We stayed over a cold Thanksgiving week, but can not wait to come back in the summer months to spend time on the beach.

This is my second time renting this property. Great setup with close proximity to beach, coffee shop and restaurants. It’s a relaxing getaway just a short drive from Chicago. Will definitely be back and communication with owners was beyond expectation!

This house was perfect for our family of eight. Everything was super clean and well designed. We spent most of our time on the screened porch- we loved that we could seat everyone at the table and also watch tv on the sectional in the morning. The fire pit and bocce court out front were an added bonus. It was about a two block walk to the beautiful beach. We will definitely be back!

This is a great house. It had everything we needed for a wonderful beach vacation. Beds and furniture are comfortable and in great condition. Kitchen was well stocked but not over crowded like some rentals. The large screened in porch was perfect for large family dinners. We enjoyed the bocci ball court most evenings. Gas fire place is real plus. We’ll be back.

Fabulous house near the lake

Gorgeous home, very new and clean with great layout and amenities. Space for everyone and really well appointed. The common spaces, both inside and out, are great for gatherings. The bedrooms are spacious, quiet and really comfortable. Kitchen and bathrooms are high end. Private beach is a couple of blocks away. Owners are great communicators and very nice people.

Our family's new favorite place! Everything about this home was was perfection...the cleanliness, the location, the excellent and kind communication with Ellen and the fact that every detail was thoughtfully considered for guests. Our kids are aged 15-23 and their reactions as they walked into the home were priceless. We enjoyed quality family time playing bocce ball on the turf, s'mores by the fire pit, and games in the beautiful porch. The home is surrounded by beautiful trees and felt very safe, a peaceful getaway for our busy family. The beach is just a short walk and was truly beyond our expectations! Our first night we arrived in time to see the most beautiful sunset and each day we enjoyed time at the beach. The sand is soft and the water clear and the home had beach chairs, a wagon, and a Maui mat for guests to use. Coming down the stairs and seeing the beach will always be a special memory, it is magical!The Lakeside area is ideal for a peaceful getaway. Our daughters enjoyed getting coffee at the Whistle Stop each day and we loved that it was not a busy area and yet only a short drive to restaurants, grocery stores and Warren Dunes State Park where we enjoyed a beautiful hike. We loved this home so much that we extended our stay and our kids asked if we can make this a place we visit again and again. I give my highest recommendation to anyone, it was the perfect home for our family getaway and we are so grateful we found it!

Highly Recommend!

This beautiful home was the perfect fit for our group of 10 women. Everyone was extremely pleased with the accommodations. Plenty of bedrooms/beds/bathrooms. Well-equipped kitchen. The 3 season room was everyone’s favorite room!! Loved sitting on the couch, with the overhead heater on the chilly mornings. The perfect spot for drinking coffee. And the large table in the 3 season room was perfect for playing board and card games. There is so much to do in the immediate area. The town of New Buffalo has some fabulous restaurants and bars. We hired a limo and checked out several nearby wineries and breweries. I just can’t say enough good things about this home. The owners, Ellen and Todd were exceptional hosts. Answered questions in a very timely manner. We can’t thank you enough for sharing your gorgeous home with us.

Great Weekend Away

The house was perfect for a group of couples. Every bedroom has it's own bathroom. The property was very clean, the screened in porch with heather was our favorite spot to hang during the chilly spring weather. Ellen was very attentive and had great communication.

We are from the Western Suburbs and have (3) beautiful girls (12,10, and 8). We absolutletly LOVE spending time at the house enjoying each other and the solitude the home provides. It is the perfect weekend getaway!

There has been so much thought that has gone into this newly built home designed to provide several different spaces all can enjoy inside and out.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

The home has been designed in a fashion to create several very comfortable places to relax. The upstairs "den" is intended for the kids or simply the den you want to go to to take a break from all the fun. The recreation/bocce court in front can be used for just about anything you can think of in a clean, level 42'x22' outdoor space. Seating for (14) in front patio/entertaining space. This space is made to enjoy as a large group comfortably.
