We walked in and left within 15 minutes due to the concerns with the property. Upon arrival, the home seemed abandoned, so maybe it hasnât been visited in a while. It should not be listed as a rental in the condition that it was in. Multiple rooms had spider webs all over the ceilings, there were no smoke detectors, the ceiling was cracked, one of the rooms had multiple wasps flying around, and Iâm allergic to wasps, so we had to leave. The home is a fixer upper basically that is up for lease or rent. I reached out to the owner to try to get a refund for it due to the conditions and he said he could only do 50% of it as a courtesy. I donât know if Iâll get it back, but hopefully I do. There were safety concerns with the property and I legit didnât feel safe for our family to stay there overnight. We stayed at a hotel less than a mile away. They offered a different property, but we were already at the hotel and it was late at night. One pro is that communication was great and the host was very professional. They were also quick to help us get inside the home since the code didnât initially work.
