Whispering Palms is one of Folly's Best. This lavish oceanfront home will make you never want to leave the balmy laid back community of Folly.

This large 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom townhome is right in the heart of Folly but large enough to feel like you have your private paradise. Each room is set up as a master suite with its own bathroom. This home can accommodate up to 10 guests. 3 of the bedrooms have king beds and the 4th bedroom has two queen beds. The property boasts two large living rooms- both with a balcony. The open-concept living room/dining room and kitchen combination look out over the ocean to view the newly built Folly Pier. Whispering Palms allows 1 well-behaved, house-broken, flea-treated dog with approval. Please include the breed and size of your dog when you inquire.

When you step out of your private garage you will be stepping into the heart of Folly Beach, Center Street. Enjoy local eateries and shopping just a stone's throw away.

Whispering Palms is the premier luxury location to enjoy the Folly Beach lifestyle.

Thanksgiving Blessing

My family thoroughly enjoyed our Thanksgiving stay at Whispering Palms! Everything was so convenient for us to cook our big meal and enjoy the beach and town as well. We definitely recommend a stay there!

Great location and very clean!

Property’s location can’t be beat, plus very clean overall, and super comfortable beds. Lots of stairs, which wasn’t great for my elderly mother, but I should have been more explicit in my questions ahead of time (no bedrooms on the main living level). Overall a great rental.

Beautiful Oceanfront

This place has it all plus the best location!! The home was perfect for our family trip (parents, grandparents and grandchildren). There was lots of space for all. It was clean and exactly as advertised. It was also steps away from restaurants and shops. 5 star all the way!!

Near the Pier and all en-suites

Conveniently one house away from the pier and all the town restaurants and bars, this house was wonderful save a few maintenance items. The property team was highly responsive but not always accurate. Overall wonderful stay.

A wonderful Bachelorette Weekend

It was me and all 7 of my bridesmaids and we had the most wonderful time! The house was in an awesome location and the views beachside were amazing! The only think was I think the fridge leaks a little underneath.. still a 5 out of 5 weekend!

Great property and location!

We loved this house, location was perfect and it was great that each bedroom had it’s own bathroom which provided privacy for everyone. If you stay here, double check that you get the garage code information before you arrive as it is different than the door code that you enter inside the garage. When we arrived, we did not have the garage code and had to call and it took a few minutes for them to call back with that information - otherwise, everything was perfect!

Overall very good. Stairs a bit tough for those of us in our 70’s (Elevator reserved for owner). One of the furnaces went out but management co promptly brought in space heaters.

House of many stairs

The location is perfect for a family, close to all the activities and restaurants of Folly Beach. However, the number of stairs to constantly climb was too much for a 78 year old Grandma with a bad knee. I’m sure the insurance won’t allow use of the in-house elevator but it would have made a world of difference for me. The third floor bedrooms are poorly sealed and my son and daughter in law felt like they were sleeping during a hurricane. The wind whistled around the door all night. On the plus side, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen very nice.

Folly Beach

The location was perfect; direct access to the beach. There should be a key pad on the back door leading to the beach. The restaurant on the Pier was excellent and reasonable. There is a chair rental company right on the beach that will set up umbrellas and chairs for a fee. So worth it!The rental unit was okay, however, the garage area had old beach equipment stored in it. It should probably all go to the dump. There are three sets of stairs, so lots to carry up and back down. The master bedroom bed was very uncomfortable. It had lumps all over it. None of the sliding doors locked. The outside patio on the 3rd floor was very dirty. I contacted the rental office regarding this issue, but no response. I cleaned it myself. There is an upper deck with 5 lounge chairs. Three of them so badly torn, no one could use them. The water pressure in the faucets and showers were very low. The appliances were all top brand and worked well.

Beach getaway

Great location! Easy access to the beach and so close to Center Street. Great views from the main living area right out to the beach. Kitchen is well-stocked. Each room having its own bathroom was a real plus too! We had a great weekend with the family and would likely rent here again. The only issues were that the freezer wasn’t working and that there was no outside shower or place to rinse off. As for the freezer, the management company added a mini fridge to help out, but that wasn’t big enough to allow us to keep ice on hand, or some frozen foods we had bought. It was big enough for some ice cream… 😋 As for the issue of no outside shower/rinsing area, we were so close to the pier that we just went there and walked back on sidewalks. That actually worked out great for us. One other nice thing about this property is the ample parking. With the outside space and the very large garage, 4 cars can easily fit. We only had three and there was plenty of room.

Fantastic property in the best location!

This home was beautifully decorated and very well appointed. High ceilings, fantastic balconies and amazing views! The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans serve ware. Lots of space for family/friend fun. Bedrooms were huge with comfortable beds, very nice bathrooms and plenty of closet space. The location could not have been more perfect. We parked the cars in the garage on day 1 and walked everywhere. Close to all the great restaurants and shops. Be sure to bring your own beach towels. They were not provided. You can rent chairs and umbrellas on the beach right in front of the house !! The beach chairs provided by the host are looking little worn out. They gave us a cute welcome bag of dishwasher pods, dish soap, laundry pods, shampoo, soap and conditioner. I would suggest bringing your own shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and liquid hand soap. Because the ones provided were tiny. But good for the first day or 2. The freezer wasn’t working when we arrived but the rental company sent someone to fix it the next morning. Lots of stairs, but they had an elevator which made it easy for groceries and luggage! We would definitely rent this place again.
