You’ll find peace, tranquility and days of fun when you vacation at 4 Night Heron on Hilton Head Island. This cottage is located within the Sea Pines gated community and is a beautiful, short walk to the beach. A sparkling swimming pool is located steps away and is exclusive for Night Heron guests only to enjoy. Within Sea Pines Plantation you have so many amenities for the entire family to enjoy including restaurants, golf courses, stables and petting zoo and miles of hiking and bike riding.

Staying at 4 Night Heron is a unique and rewarding experience. Constructed with an open floor plan, high-sloped ceilings, gleaming wood floors and generous large windows throughout, you’ll feel connected to the lush forest that surrounds the home. Not only is there plenty of room to spread out and watch the TV with cable or play games, but also the living room couch makes out into a sleeper sofa when needed. Sliding doors lead out to the screened in deck where you can gather for meals around the outdoor table. There’s a grill in case you want to cook steaks some evening. If you prefer to dine indoors, you’ll find a dining table at the edge of the main living area. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare any meal. The primary bedroom is a true retreat with its queen-size bed, private TV and large sliding glass doors that lead out onto the deck. It’s fun and so peaceful to slip out and listen to the sounds of the forest at night. The guest room features queen-size bunk beds. Kids will love this room with a private TV and space to play. Guests share the Night Heron 4 bathroom that’s convenient to both bedrooms. Location, Location!

Not too small, and not too big. This cute property was just five minutes from a quiet Sea Pines beach. The check-in process was easy and the spacious villa was a perfect size for a family of four. The quiet street was a nice respite for our small dog, too.

This was our first trip to Hilton Head Island so we were unaware that this is not a ‘normal’ beach town; in fact, HHI is unlike most beach towns in that there is no direct access to the beach! That being said if you have any disability or can’t ride a bike, I would highly suggest you find another destination. The property was very well maintained and very comfortable. It had everything you needed to make sure you were comfortable. The owner provided suggestions for how to access the beaches, which helped tremendously. HHI is extremely family friendly with lots of options for your family members to enjoy. And of course the fresh seafood was outstanding. If you’re looking for a family friendly experience with lots of bike riding HHI is perfect. Don’t expect expansive beaches with minimal crowds or crystal water because HHI doesn’t have them, but it offers a unique experience that you won’t find elsewhere. I highly recommend this cottage as a destination for a family.

Great little getway

Mike’s place was just as described and pictured. It was Very clean with all the extras such as beach chairs, beach cart, sand toys, etc. the walk to the beach is just across the street and down the walk so about 5 minutes and easy trek with the beach cart. Community pool is also nice for the kids. Owner was very prompt with response to messages. We very much enjoyed and would book again.

Thank you for your comment. We call them palmetto bugs as they are very common in the low country. Although the area is sprayed regularly to address this common bug, it unfortunately does happen that one or two get through especially during wetter weather. I unfortunately did not receive any communications about this during your stay even when I checked to make sure to see if everything was to your satisfaction. Our association is very helpful in getting extra service from the pest control company to come out and do an extra spray. My apologies for having this issue as I strive very hard to make sure our place is top notch and that each guest has a fantastic experience.

Nice Cottage

This unit was very pretty and clean. The screen in porch was especially nice. Kitchen had plenty of glassware and dishes. My suggestions would be that the queen bed is over due for a new mattress and the livinging area furniture needs the upholstery cleaned. I would stay again.

Great place! Great location!

Loved this rental! Our family of 4 stayed for a week and it was the perfect size for us. Mike was responsive to all of our questions leading up to our stay. He even messaged us during it to check on how we were doing which I greatly appreciated. The house was very clean and the outdoor deck is perfect for enjoying morning coffee! The beach (which is very clean and not at all crowded) was in walking distance and there was a cart available to help take beach chairs and toys down to the beach. Overall, we would stay at this location again. Highly recommend!!

The beach house is located inside Sea Pines and you will have full access to all 5,000-acres that encompasses private neighborhoods, a resort, 605 acre forest preserve with horse stables and a petting zoo, 3 golf courses along with a PGA Tour golf course, Harbour Town marina and the town center with shopping and dining options.
Restaurants include the world famous Salty Dog Cafe and the brand new Quarterdeck located under the famous lighthouse in Harbour Town. Beach side dining can be found at Coast which is less than 1 mile from the cottage.
Miles of hiking/biking paths can be found in the Forest Preserve located directly behind the beach house as well as all throughout Sea Pines.
