Cozy condo with great views, relaxing atmosphere, and Texas charm. Situated atop a bluff overlooking the Guadalupe River, this gated community offers the feel of the country with a convenient location. Minutes to Schlitterbahn, Faust Street Bridge, historic downtown New Braunfels and a wide array of eateries/retail. Close proximity to San Antonio, Austin, and San Marcos. Ideal for a weekend getaway or a longer stay. Guadalupe Getaway is in a small, gated condo community towards the back of an established neighborhood. Prior to your visit, you will receive the code to the gate and the lockbox for the condo. There is shared access to the river and the community pool.

-Sound machine in each bedroom with disposable earplugs provided

-We inspect every property to make sure it is up to standard and ready for your family's arrival.


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
-A two-night minimum stay is required.
-We ARE pet friendly with an additional $25 pet charge per stay. You are responsible for picking up any pet waste in the provided waste bags. Please dispose of outside. You are responsible for any damage caused by the animal and there will be a $50 fine if you do not pick up your pet’s waste.

This was a great spot for our family vacation to Schlitterbahn! The beds were comfy and the location perfect! We really enjoyed the back patio and access to the river…we even saw a deer one evening!

This wonderfully decorated riverfront condo is located close to the heart of all the action in NB. Eric and Amanda are wonderful hosts with hearts of gold! They were quick to partner with our efforts to help support victims of the July 4th floods along the Guadalupe.

My husband and I were attending a wedding right down the road and the apartment was perfect. Beautiful view of the river and so close to downtown.

Great Location. Very Clean. Nice Getaway

We rented the condo for two days for 4 adults, a teen and a 7 year old. Although it was a tad crowded, it worked out very well. There were two bunkbeds, a bedroom with a queen bed, and a pullout couch, in the living area. The kitchen area was great, and we cooked a couple of meals there. We also use the pool, and were able to quickly travel to Gruene, outlet shops and Rockin’ R to go tubing down to Guadalupe. We also had to make a trip to an emergency room for the seven-year-old who had strep throat. The Chritus Spohn ER was right down the street, and took care of the 7 year old in quick order. Overall, a very relaxing vaca, even counting the ER visit. I would certainly recommend it for a 2 to 7 day stay.

Noisy Getaway

I’m hesitant to provide a review since it’s a very mixed review. The property itself is nice and close to various activities and dining experiences. It’s pet friendly, so that’s also something we liked. The first day of our stay however was very poor due to the upstairs neighbor(s). There was stomping, slamming doors, loud cursing, shouting insults, etc., into the early morning hours. Neither my husband nor I could get to sleep. While this may not be the norm, or maybe it is- I don’t know, it’s what we experienced at this property. I did communicate this to the property manager, but there was no comment back. The second day of our stay was better.

Cute, clean, cozy

A great find right off the river! Kids had a great time at the pool. It rained during our stay, but the house was stocked with games, so we still had so much fun! Everyone in the area was friendly.
