Great location

We had a wonderful time. Condo was just the right size for family of 4 (two teenage boys). The pool was nice and the river access definitely a plus.

Love the location, pools and area. The door lock was extremely difficult and the parking was awful. Caught about 25 door dings with those tiny parking spaces and a ticket parking where security told us we could on the street. Needs more parking.

Great location

We had a great time at this property except we had no hot water for showers and the guest bed sounds like it is about to fall apart and is so uncomfortable.

Relaxing get away

This place was quaint, enjoyable and just the right amount of relaxation we needed. We normally stay on the Comal, which always loud late into the night, and people can be very obnoxious! This place has a quiet time of 10pm and everyone respected that rule. My husband and I sat out on the balcony in the evenings and listened to our music just loud enough for us to hear. People out at the pool were very respectful and kept the noise level down as well. Overall we enjoyed this place and plan to come back in future years!!

Wonderful location and nice place to stay for families

Very clean and loved the pool and proximity to the river and restaurants. The condo needs to be sprayed for ants.

Great Location

Great condo and amenities perfect for a relaxing few days on the Guadalupe River and easy paddle access to Comal River! Easy check in and responsive management. Also minimal pet charge :) We are already planning our next stay!!

Met our needs spectacularly, but would not choose a third floor unit again

We stayed for a month and a half. Tubed the river, talked to neighbors, and had a birthday party for my son. If you want peace and quiet, Mon-Thurs. evenings are nice. Weekends are busy and loud. Maintenance crews fill the weekday mornings with routine landscaping and pool cleaning. The listing mentioned security, but we didn't see any the entire visit. I would have chosen a different unit, had I known it was the 3rd floor, prior to booking as the patio was rained on many days, and the sunny days beemed and reflected off windows creating a blinding and extra warm environment. Inside was difficult to regulate temperatures as the windows magnified heat in the living area and the back bedroom would stay the coldest. We may definitely stay at Waterwheel again and invite more family, as it's down the street from Schlitterbaun(sp?), easy access to downtown, river and parks, and shopping/dining areas were plentiful close by. We simply would not chose the same unit.
