Private, Huge, Spacious, Family friendly, Lake front Cabin are just one of many features of this beautiful cabin! Located in the private community of Riverbend at Lake Lure, this community has a private beach, 2 lakes, a beach pavilion, a river/nature walk, a swimming hole, and more. This 6 bedroom and 3.5 bath log cabin has a huge great room, screened in porch, 2 spacious decks with a third leading to the lake, pool table, foosball ball table, and more. This cabin is minutes away from main Lake Lure Lake, 7-10 minutes from Chimney Rock State Park, and 40 minutes from Asheville.

We enjoyed this cozy cabin. As soon as you stepped in, you felt the warmth and beauty of the cabin alongside the beauty of the outdoors. We had a big family gathering here and we all had a great time! The basement was perfect for entertainment. The kitchen was well stocked. Overall, we had a lovely experience.

Family vacation

We had a group of 15 stay at this property and we had a great time! The house was exceptionally clean, even in the nooks and crannies. There was enough room for everyone and the house had items already there that helped make the stay even more comfortable. We are so happy with our stay!

This place is absolutely gorgeous! Plenty of room for everyone and the game room was incredible! We only had a few issues. We all had a hard time connecting to the Wi-Fi and when it did connect there was no internet but being in the mountains that's bound to happen. The countertop stove was not a favorite and there was no exhaust fan for it. The decks did have some loose boards which were not nailed down, tripping hazard. Overall experience was great!

Gorgeous home

The house was absolutely incredible! Access to the water was wonderful. The manager was very attentive to an issue we brought to their attention with the deck. Would recommend this home to anyone.

Updated Home Near Lake Lure

This is a lovely, well equipped property that suited the needs of our large family very well! As another review mentioned, the queen room upstairs does not have a door, which made it somewhat noisy and lacking in privacy. The lower level was an amazing space for all our teenagers. They loved the huge bunk room and the large stock of games, foosball, and pool table. The kitchen is not large but very well stocked with an adjoining pantry. The coffee bar was an added bonus! Our main complaint was that the listing does not make really clear that this cabin is NEAR Lake Lure and is about a 15 minute drive to access the lake. Since our kids love tubing, we had to drive to Lake Lure and rent a boating service for that. There is a small lake and dock at the back of the cabin where we could swim and kayak however. The owners provided two new kayaks for that purpose! Also there is a wonderful swimming "hole" near the entrance to Riverbend that we found delightful for swimming and floating. The checking in process was smooth enough, but the wifi set up was not as specified by the property owner. We called one of the property managers who repeated the wrong instructions to us. So eventually one of my sons just figured it out and set it up himself. Overall this cabin is a wonderful vacation rental that could be improved after a few kinks are worked out.

Beautiful Home with a Great View.

This home has many pluses and overall we were extremely happy with our stay. The deck spaces are expansive and even more furniture and amenities than pictured. The lake is beautiful, peaceful, and private. We only saw another family in the lake 1 time. We did a lot of catch and release fishing and they even provided some fishing reels and gear. The canoe provided was very nice and we were happy to see they had a big lily pad and many inter tubes we utilized. The beds were comfortable and it was so nice to have the teens on their own level of the house with the game tables and MANY games provided that weren’t pictured. The three air conditioners made it easier to control the temperature on each level. The extra fridge came in handy for drinks and snacks for the teens to access on the lower level. The views out onto the lake are even more beautiful than the pictures. A few things for guests to be aware of when booking. The third bedroom in the loft with the 2 beds in it does not have a door. They have a screen you can put up but it is not private - luckily my oldest son didn’t mind being in there. The other thing the roads coming up to the property are gravel and are narrow. I do not recommend checking in after dark. Thankfully we didn’t have to do so, and after arrival we made sure we were in the home before dark as we didn’t want to travel those roads without plenty of light. There is no driveway, 3 large vehicles fit very tightly into the covered parking.
