Belle maison au bord du lac. Première fois sur le marché locatif, cette maison dispose de quatre ponts de rassemblement spacieux et d'une pièce à étaler. Beaucoup d'espaces de vie intérieurs et extérieurs ainsi qu'une salle de billard. Immense terrasse ensoleillée au sommet d'un hangar à bateaux à 2 stalles. Kayaks et paddleboards inclus avec la location. Renseignez-vous auprès du propriétaire concernant la location d'un ponton de 20 '. 3 lits king, 2 reines, 1 lit simple, 3 lits pliants et 2 berceaux pack-n-play. Cuisine entièrement équipée. House reçoit actuellement de la peinture fraîche et du nouveau tapis, ainsi que la mise à jour de certains meubles. Photos à venir.

Host was very responsive. We loved the house! So many great outdoor spaces/porches to enjoy hanging out together, enjoying some quiet time, puzzling, fire pit, enjoying the amenities,walking, etc.There were 11 in our group. And plenty of room for everyone! We enjoyed the local shops and restaurants too! Cherokee and Asheville are within driving distance. Grocery store within 15 minutes.Highly recommend!!

Watching the work being done to restore the lake was fascinating. The roads were accessible between Lake Lure and both Asheville and Hendersonville. We were able to get in some apple picking on one of our trips to the Hendersonville area. The dining options were plentiful, particularly as you got closer to the weekend. The pool table and fire pit were great. Owners were very responsive when needed.

We would go back again. The host was very prompt with the few questions I asked. The house was in a great location for us. The house does need a deep clean. There have been very few visitors this year due to the storm damage to the lake. There are cobwebs inside and out, along with small dead insects in corners. This needs to be addressed. Overall, we loved our stay!

Golf trip

Great property, best supplied/equipped I’ve ever seen, multiple living/gathering areas, clean and tidy inside. We were 6 60 golfers that enjoyed the property immensely. The area is still struggling to recover from Helene but Kieth and Ali are on the top of their game! Highly recommend!

Wonderful place to stay on Lake Lure!

We had a great time with our family at Idle Speed! The hosts were great and the house was just perfect! Beautiful spot on the lake, very clean, lots of great porch space and hang out space! We also enjoyed being close to some great hiking spots and the Chimney Rock area.

Summer Mini vacation

We had an absolute amazing time here! The house itself was great with the well-stocked kitchen, great bedroom layout, and fun things to do like pool and ping pong. And everyone loved the lake amenities - kayaks, paddle boards, floating water mat, and a great deck to sit and play games and just enjoy the lake. Can't wait to come back and spend more time here!

Fall Family Trip

We rented this house for our family including our grown children and grandchildren. The house is perfect! It has everything you could possibly need and more! Annual family winter vacation

We originally had reservations in Gatlinburg but due to snow and ice we had to cancel. At the last minute we looked for somewhere else to gather and came across Lake Lure. Lake Lure Excursion

Great Property, the decks and Sun Rooms are wonderful for relaxation time. Our kids enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding. The Chimney Rock area is quite beautiful. The sidewalks do roll up early in town and there are only a few places open after 8pm.

Family gathering

This was an excellent choice for our family to gather for the week. The house was comfortable for all and well supplied. Lake Lure is a beautiful vacation spot and we loved all the porches and views from each bedroom. We especially enjoyed the times we took the boat out. Ali and Keith were so friendly and responsive to any questions. We would definitely recommend staying at this wonderful home on the lake.

Mother’s Day weekend

Idle Speed was exactly if not better than anticipated. We had ample room for 11 of us and all the amenities plus more than we could have hoped for were provided. Pool table, ping pong, foosball, kayaks, so much to do. This property truly caters to every age level.
