Welcome to your private oasis in Wilmington! Our fully remodeled home offers everything you need for a comfortable and memorable stay. Nestled on a secluded lot, this modern retreat features an expansive screened porch, a cozy wood-burning fireplace, and an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings and a gas fireplace. Enjoy stylish, newer furniture that adds to the home's relaxed vibe.

Outdoors, you'll find multiple spaces designed for relaxation and entertainment. Unwind on the deck, screened porch, or in the custom gazebo overlooking a scenic tidal creek. Paddle your kayak or stand-up paddleboard directly from the property to the beautiful Intracoastal Waterway and Masonboro Island for a true coastal experience.

Indoors, the spacious family room is perfect for gathering, with the gas fireplace providing extra warmth on cooler evenings. When it’s time to explore, you’re in the ideal location: walk to nearby pubs, restaurants, a mini-mart, playground, and a public boat launch all within a mile. Coming in 2025, a multi-use city trail along Masonboro Loop Road will be just a half-mile from the house.

Our home is also centrally located for all Wilmington has to offer:

9 miles to Carolina Beach
8 miles to historic downtown Wilmington

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is beautiful and there are several outdoor sitting areas. The kitchen is well-equipped, the beds are comfy, and we did not want for anything! There are also a couple of restaurants within walking distance. We definitely plan to stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at this property and will recommend this rental house to anybody traveling to Cape Fear. The check-in process was very easy as all access codes were provided well in advance. The owner of the property provided all the information and rules to abide by during our stay. He also provided a way to communicate with him directly if any issues were encountered. The property is extremely well maintained and beautiful. Furthermore, the pictures shown as advertisement are exact representations of the house. Just to emphasize some of the best aspects of the property: the kitchen was beautiful and fully equipped, the living/ dinning room space was ample and functional, and the bathroom in the master suite was amazing. The rest of amenities included a breathtaking outdoor space and a 2 car garage that was very useful. This place was one of the best properties my family has ever stayed in. It made for a wonderful first time visit to NC.

Mason Knoll

Mason Knoll is an amazing find and Jeff is amazing. He was responsive to our inquiries and is kind and understanding. We had stayed at Mason Knoll with my father (3 generations), myself and husband and daughters. Jeff remembered us and, since my father has passed, he offered his condolences and welcomed us back after time away. This is a wonderful place located in a great area of town (easy access to downtown Wilmington and the beaches) and a great community.

Exactly what we needed

This house is perfect in all ways. Location is great - close to UNCW and Wrightsville. The screened porch was an added bonus when raining. Comfortable beds, sofas and kitchen well stocked. We will definitely rent again if we have the need.

Amazing stay and felt like home!

I would highly recommend staying here! The property felt like I was staying at home. The location was very nice in a quiet neighborhood and the house was stocked with more than you’ll ever need for your stay. We stayed there with 6 adults and our toddler daughter and we had plenty of room. The house had lots of seating and the outdoor spaces were perfect! Jeff was very helpful and responsive through the booking process and our stay. If you’re in the area don’t miss out on this house!

Peaceful and comfortable respite

My husband and I stayed here for six weeks. The home is beautifully furnished and decorated. Very thoroughly equipped. Everything is comfortable. The property is simply gorgeous and quite private and peaceful. Convenient to beaches and downtown and pretty much everywhere else you might want to go, with a few nice little restaurants very close by. Jeff and Ellen are wonderful hosts, very responsive and helpful. They have thought of everything at this house. We will definitely return!

Gorgeous House

This is probably one of the best rentals we have ever stayed in. The house is beautiful, spotless and well cared for. The attention to detail and quality of furnishings were great. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch and deck. Jeff was very responsive but we honestly had very few issues. Would highly recommend this property.

We purchased and have lived in this home for several years. The house was selected because of its location within Wilmington as well as its private backyard and coastal/tropical feel. We enjoy working with our guests and get great satisfaction from the positive feedback from our guests.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

We selected this home several years ago as a down-sizing opportunity. The central coastal location within Wilmington provides access to everything popular in 10 - 15 minutes. There are two restaurants within walking distance (approximately 1/3 mile) Whiskey Trail Restaurant & The Keg and Egg as well as a convenience store. We especially fell in love with the small friendly neighborhood and covered gazebo on the community dock. The location of the house in the neighborhood also provided a lot of backyard privacy, vacant lot next to our house.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Coastal experience without the noise and crowds. The property location is central to downtown, Wrightsville Beach, and Carolina Beach. The community dock with gazebo / picnic table provides a spot to launch kayaks, SUP boards or just enjoy relaxing sunsets and waterfowl.
