Bodi and I have been traveling to the Lake Chelan are with our children for over 20 years. Every time we get that first glimpse of the lake sparkling in the sun with its crystal clear blue/green waters we can't wait to jump in and feel the sand under our feet and that amazingly clean water. This area has brought us so many amazing memories over the years we knew eventually we would find a spot to call our own. In 2020 we finally found that spot.

The note regarding Wapato Point was added automatically by VRBO and we have tried to change it. It is not in Wapato Point-it is in the town of Manson. We actually looked at the location and the home that was there multiple times as it went for sale and then was taken off the market in years past. The location always captivated us. It is in the small town of Manson but uniquely located so all of the best the lake and region have to offer are practically at your doorstep. The wine tasting if that is your speed is top notch with many of the areas most renowned wineries having tasting rooms within a block of the home. There is great food at the restaurants and brewery on Wapato Way with more coming soon. Coffee and pastries are a short walk away, a bakery, the grocery store all a very short walk--no car needed. Then...there is the lake, the star of the show. There is direct access just down the street to the lake. The Manson Bay Marina is a block away with slips available to rent for up to 2 weeks at a time. There is a large swimming beach adjacent to the marina with a life guard in the summers and large dock. Boats of many kinds including ski boats, pontoon party barges, sea doos and kayaks/paddle boards can all be rented right at the waters edge at the marina from a local vendor. There is a snow cone stand that is actually in the shape of a giant snow cone at the edge of the swimming beach park. Just a little farther up the street is another public beach that is under renovation. If you have a boat or rent one and are able to travel up lake there are many stopping points and parks along the way. Pick up a local visitor guide to point them out. A pass is available if you plan to use or stay at the parks of the lake. Steheiken is the town at the north end of the lake famous for Rainbow falls and incredible back country hiking. The lady of the Lake can take you there on a regular schedule from either Chelan or Fields Point landing across the lake.

The unique benefits of this property is it is designed for entertaining but giving groups space to congregate separately or together. There is room for 16 to eat together in the kitchen. The 6 bedrooms are spacious most with additional seating and desk/work space. We have gone through a lot of effort to make this home somewhere we are excited to bring our family and friends to stay and with the simplicity of being able to walk to any activity or food/drink you or your guests may want to enjoy at any time. Also being where we are located the late spring through fall brings live music at the venues very close bye with great bands and singers. Also on Wednesdays and Saturdays there is a farmers market at the grange mere steps from the front of the property across Wapato Way. If you were to need additional space for up to 8 additional guests we also own the property across the alley which may be available -1935 fully renovated cottage downtown.
