Welcome to the Black Hills! Treat yourself and stay in our luxury “Badlands”modern loft in the heart of downtown Rapid City. Coffee shops, pubs and restaurants are walkable. Located across the street from Murphy’s Bar, and right next door to Essence of Coffee. This property is not pet friendly. We love pets but unfortunately, because of this property’s awesome location there is no place for them to go to the bathroom or be let out. *No smoking allowed on property* Shop, dine and unwind with us!

This loft was beautiful and the perfect accommodations for my solo trip! Host was super communicative, loft was clean and full of amenities, and a great location for the things I wanted to see and do. Essence of Coffee (downstairs) was great for a latte and breakfast each morning! I highly recommend Badlands Loft!

The Badlands Loft was in a great location near many cute shops and restaurants. The loft was clean and inviting, the perfect place to relax after a long day. Marci was also very responsive and helpful with all of our questions!

This loft was perfect for our trip to the Black Hills. We stayed for 6 nights. It is very convenient for visiting all of the major sites (which we did) including Wind Cave NP, Mt Rushmore, Custer SP, Badlands NP, and Devils Tower in WY. It has easy access to highway 90 and other major routes. It is walking distance to many restaurants and there is a Safeway grocery just a mile down the roade.

Great stay in Rapid City

My husband and I with our young daughter really enjoyed our stay here we would highly recommend it. Great communication, awesome location we loved to be able to walk downtown and to the coffee shop next-door.

Fantastic Loft

This loft was clean, cool, and perfect! It is located within 90 minutes of everything in South Dakota +. 15 minutes to the air and space museum, 30 minutes to Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse
Devils Tower in Wyoming was only 90 minutes. Lots of great downtown shops and eateries to walk to, and we even found some of the best presidents!

Gateway location

Though we were for a class reunion and not as visitors to the hills this location is perfect to get anywhere you would want to go. The location is perfect for being in Rapid City. It is right downtown and is a beautiful loft.

badlands loft

The location was perfect, the balcony was great for our morning coffee as was the coffee shop next door! The kitchen had everything you could need. The bedroom was nice with plenty of closet space and the bathroom was a great size with ample space for our things. The owners were very accommodating and we plan on renting again in the future.

Perfect stay

Clean, roomy rental property located near many sites/activities in and around Rapid City. Convenient restaurants in a walkable distance, too. Property owners were friendly & accommodating.

First VRBO stay anywhere

Location was perfect. Spacious nicely decorated. Host very responsive. Only surprise was the flight of stairs. We had tons of luggage on our three week trip. But, the host assisted us. Neighborhood is safe and clean. Downtown has many terrific places to eat. Convenient location to Mount Rushmore, Deadwood, Custer & more.
