Relaxing get away

The house is in a great location to everything we wanted to do. Our puppies really enjoyed the fenced in backyard! We would definitely stay again.

The cottage was adorable and exactly like the pics. Our dogs LOVED the fenced in back yard. The location was so close to both St Simons & Jekyll. We had one issue with our shower drain and our host drove up the same day to fix it. He was warm and communicative. We would stay again.

Spring break adventure

Cute little house equipped with everything we needed for the week. Fenced back yard was great for our dog. House was clean and check in was a breeze. Host was lightning fast responding to a quick question. Location is perfect for quick access to surrounding areas. Neighborhood is older but definitely felt safe and it was quiet day and night. Will try to book again in future.

Perfect place

Tropical storm Debbie came by so we had to hunker down for two days and stay inside. The house was perfect and fulfilled all our needs! Greg, the host, was exceptionally nice and when we wanted to stay another night so we could go to Cumberland island he happily helped us out and was very generous. I wish I owned this house. It’s twenty mins from the beach and everything we needed was near. Will stay here again in a heartbeat!

MAD Brunswick 2024

The property had cosmetic updates as shown in the website pictures but there are several items with limited functionality (none of the blinds could be opened, at least one drawer in living room shelf/drawer unit could not be opened). Greg (Host) replied to questions very quickly, but if he had provided a printed notebook many inquiries could likely be avoided. Examples: o There are 3 tv remotes but only 2 are to be used. Provide instructions as to how to use the remotes and remove the remote that is not needed. o Provide instructions regarding use of the AC unit to get heat. (wall thermostat does not work). We think the Host has a duty to be more up front in his listing, specifically regarding: o The shower only drains by use of a pump and although this works, it is unsightly and probably unsanitary based on the looks of the mold in the discharge hose. Also, the discharges is onto the ground outside the building – we question if this meets code. o the condition of the adjacent property to the east (abandoned car and junk all over the yard, and what appears to be an abandoned structure). This does not instill confidence in the safety of the neighborhood. o The queen bed is a box spring with foam cover - not a mattress. We requested a partial refund and Greg complied. He was easy to work with and responded in a very timely manner.
