Beautiful, peaceful country guest house with pond
CHARMING COUNTRY RETREAT
Bright, inviting and filled with charm, this 1700 sq ft upper level duplex is a 3 bedroom, two bath guest house located on 10 acres in the country with a private entryway and drive. There is plenty of space, both indoors and outdoors, for relaxing and spending quality time with friends or family during your peaceful country retreat. The surrounding grounds include views of pasture land, farm animals, woods and a large pond. Guests are welcome to feed the pond fish and turtles, food is provided by the owners. (This is a NO FISHING pond.) This peaceful rental is an absolutely perfect place to get away from the fast-paced chaos of everyday city life and to slow down and enjoy the fresh air and peace and quiet of the country. Although located in the peaceful country, numerous restaurants, grocery stores, drug stores and other shopping are located within 6 to 10 miles. Property is located 20-25 minutes away from the Towns of Covington, Folsom, Mandeville and Abita Springs during non-rush hour, and is a one hour drive to New Orleans.
This beautiful property features 3 bedrooms, a full kitchen, a large combined open breakfast, dining and living room area with beautiful vaulted ceilings, 2 baths and utility room with washer and dryer.
In order to keep our prices fair for all guests, our pricing is based on the number of guests in your group. Baseprice is for the first 2 guests. The cost for each additional guest over 2 is $10 per night.
Bedrooms comfortably sleep 6 people. (If you wish to bring your own air mattresses and set them up in the great room/living room, you can book more people than 6 people.)

Bedroom 3: Full Bed
FULL KITCHEN stocked with: coffee station, stove, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, glasses, coffee cups, dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other kitchen basics.
Amenities also include: Flat-screen TV with cable including Netflix, Hulu, Roku and Amazon Prime, free wifi, board games, central air and heat and ceiling fans. Linens and towels are included, and the utility room includes a full size washer and dryer stocked with laundry soap.
OUTDOORS: Rental outdoor space includes a large private back porch with outdoor furniture and large wooden swing. Enjoy morning coffee or breakfast on the back porch while listening to the beautiful sounds of birds all around you. Or wind down on the back patio in the evenings with your beverage of choice while the tree frogs, crickets and cicadas lull you into a relaxed state of peace. Outdoor games include cornhole and giant Jenga. Relax and picnic by the pond, and enjoy feeding the pond fish and turtles (fish/turtle food available at no charge. Fishing is prohibited.)
OFF STREET PRIVATE PARKING that pulls up directly to the rental entryway and can accommodate as many vehicles as necessary.
SMOKING POLICY Smoking is prohibited inside the rental.. Smoking is allowed in the open grounds surrounding the guest house and at the the pond.
Minimum renter age is 21. Photo ID may be required upon check-in. IF YOU ARRIVE WITH ADDITIONAL GUESTS NOT NOT INCLUDED IN YOUR ORIGINAL BOOKING, YOU WILL BE ASSESSED AN ADDITIONAL INVOICE FOR THEIR COSTS AND ASK TO PAY PRIOR TO THEIR BEING ALLOWED TO STAY. NO PETS ARE ALLOWED.
