We would not want to stay here again. The place is unfortunately dirty, the beds are extremely uncomfortable, and the shower feels like a garden hose shower. The owner needs to change all the mattresses and clean the bed areas
 I would not recommend anyone to stay here other than the fact that it is cheaper than most places.

Don't know where to start. First thing was extremely strong smell, scorching nose and throat. Very dirty, all baseboards, windowsills etc. Sagging mattress, dinnerware repulsive. Blinds didn't close due to missing slats. Those there came down when we tried to adjust. Go somewhere else.

sAFFORDABLE AND CONVENIENT

THE PLACE IS VERY PLAIN, BUT CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. THE LOCATION IS CONVENIENT AND THE MANAGER WAS VERY RESPONSIVE. WE WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN.

Excellent Stay

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was large, clean, quiet and safe. The location was close to a variety of food and entertainment. We look forward to returning in the near future.

Easy & Convenient

Location was great. Not a very long drive to anywhere we needed to go. The place was very clean and comfortable. Easy connection to netflix. Was a very nice stay!

Good little apartment for a quiet place to stay.

This is a standard middle of the road apartment for a good price. The owner had fantastic communication. It was very quiet. I found the bed a bit uncomfortable, but that may be personal preference. If we visit Phoenix again, I would definitely rent here again. It was a great value.

Poorly equipped and obvious dirt in some areas led to a disappointing stay. Glad we were only there for one night.

You get what you pay for.

We needed somewhere not too expensive to stay for Thankagiving. This did the trick and allowed us to have a place to gather in the evenings and cook meals. I thought there was going to be a pull out bed in the couch there was not. The neighbors upstairs were loud and it seemed like the place was falling apart and could use some love.

Not as expected

Okay
so the unit is truly bare bones. Not even ice make or ice trays to make ice. Not in a great neighborhood and was dark when we arrived. Older bedding and towels. Mostly clean but just an older unit that could definitely use TLC. Tub/shower does not drain well. Host was responsive.

Spring Training Trip

Dale was really good at communicating and even followed up the day of check-in. Nicely located near the Cubs training facilities and plenty of shopping near by. Only down side was the place seemed dusty. Not sure if furnace filter needs replaced. But everytime i showered my feet would be dirty by walking around. Also the couch had a few stains on it. Overall nice place to stay for what i needed.

According to locals, the area is not considered safe. Comparing to other large cities we've been to, this neighborhood did not feel dangerous, however the neighbors were not very friendly - not a deal breaker, just an observation.

Location and quality

Location is in an unsafe neighborhood. Master bed needs a new bed. Bathroom fan needs cleaning, toilet not cleaned properly. Dirty dishes in the dishwasher from previous tenants. No dishwasher soap or dish soap. Broken kitchen drawer Junky clothes washer and dryer. I would not wash my clothes in them. Price does represent the quality. Owner not concerned about condition of the apartment.

Overall amazing stay.

I have never used a home vacation rental of any kind, so I made a mistake emailing my id. Didn't notice till almost time of check-in, and was beyond scared I wouldn't be able to get my two kids( 2&3) inside. (It was 101 outside) He was able to QUICKLY get us inside. Later when we noticed we didn't have a broom he expeditiously took care of it(even when I couldn't get back to him for hours due to a graduation) He even went so far as to reach out and ask how our stay was going and if we needed anything. The apartment was clean and ready for us when we arrived, and had few if any in reach breakables and was extra kid friendly (environment, and cleaning) Cleaning before leaving wasn't as tik tok has made using these services seem, expectations were put on the wall.

Property was not as advertised

Upon arrival we discovered the property was not as advertised. Even though the listing said it was a non-smoking property, there was an overwhelming smell of artificial scent covering cigarette smoke. There was a fish tank on the front porch that was half full of cigarette butts. I have asthma and could not spend time inhaling lingering smoke and air fresheners. We left the location within moments and let the host know we would not be staying there.The host offered to come view the property, but we knew there was nothing that could be done about the smell. He said he would let us cancel the reservation, but would only refund us for nights he could not rebook. We told him this was not an acceptable response, but to go ahead and cancel the reservation as we would not be staying there.When I reached out to VRBO customer service, I was told the host had to be the one to cancel the reservation, and he had not done that yet. Therefore, the property was still unavailable for him to rebook. He told VRBO the property was non-smoking inside but not outside.Since neither VRBO nor the host was willing to rectify the situation to our satisfaction, we contacted our bank to dispute the charges.I do not recommend this host or this property and will not be using VRBO again.
