Location! Pool Access and Quick Easy Direct Beach Access. Rent Sunday to Sunday
Shore Thing is a beautifully decorated beach house on the desirable west end of the island. The house is located on a quiet section of West Second Street with a public beach access directly in front of the house. The house overlooks a lagoon from the Intracoastal Waterway on the back side. You are only steps away from toes in the sand or beautiful sunsets on the Intercoastal Waterway.
You will have access to the oceanfront pool located at The Resort Clubhouse. The pool and clubhouse are located a half mile from the house towards the pier. Pictures included for your review.

We offer weekly rentals Sunday to Sunday from June to mid August allowing our guests to avoid the hectic rush and traffic congestion of typical Saturday turnovers.
In the off season, we have a three night minimum stay.
The two story, open floor plan presents an inviting and comfortable coastal living experience for your family's beach vacation. This four bedroom, four bath home plus sitting area sleeps 12 guests and offers a fully equipped kitchen and dining area. Enjoy breakfast, sun or an evening cocktail on the spacious front deck. Other amenities include keyless entry, outdoor hot/cold shower, wireless internet, washer/dryer and gas grill.
We have a strict No Smoking and No Pet policy due to owner allergies.
FLOOR PLAN
The main floor presents an open living area with large screen TV and large sectional sofa with room for the entire family. This room transitions into the adjoining kitchen/dining area. The kitchen has all the appliances and cooking utensils you may need as well as a Keurig Duo Coffee maker, traditional coffee maker, blender and toaster oven. The dining table sits six with additional seating at the bar.
There are two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms on the main floor. One bedroom has a King bed while the other has a Queen.
On the second floor, are two more bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. One bedroom has a King bed and TV while the other bedroom has two Queen beds and a TV. The second floor also includes a second living/sitting area with two sofas, one being a Queen sleeper and a TV.
LOCATION
We are located one mile from the pier, shops and waterpark on the west end of the island. Shore Thing is on West Second Street with the Starboard Street Public Beach Access direclty in front of the house. This access is also used for Emergency Vehicles so it is wide and gently sloping with no steps. You are a quick two minute walk from the house to the sand.
The sunsets of the Intercoastal Waterway are breathtaking. You are also a two minute walk to the waters of the Intercoastal Waterway with a lagoon backing up to the house.
LINENS and TOWELS
Bed linens and bath towels are available for a nominal fee. If you select the linen package, the bed linens should be on the beds when you arrive. If this is not possible for your stay, you will be notified before your arrival.
Beach Towels are NOT INCLUDED. You will provide your own beach towels. A washer and dryer is located on the main floor for your convenience.
A starter supply of toliet paper, paper towels, soap, shampoo and detergent will be provided upon your arrival. Guests should be prepared to provide any additional such products for themselves as needed beyond what is supplied.
ENTERTAINMENT
Enjoy the large front deck for brunch, sunning or just relax in our rocking chairs with an evening cocktail. We have a large backyard for fun and games. Cornhole boards are provided. A gas grill is provided to prepare your favorite cookout food.
BEACH ACCESSORIES
You will have acces to a renter closet full of beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and cooler available for a day on the beach. Some of our guests choose to leave their beach toys at the house year after year.
An outdoor hot/cold shower is available to wash the beach off after a long day in the sun. Rumor has it.......this may be the best shower in the house!

Please be aware there are exterior security cameras located on the premises for the safety and security of the guests and the property.
