Charmante maison avec vue sur l'océan avec bain à remous privé et piscine communautaire

Mermaid's Tale vous accueille dans son aventure au bord de la mer! Nous sommes directement en face de l'accÚs à la plage de la magnifique plage de sable blanc Ocean Isle et également en face de la piscine Summer Place HOA. Nous avons 4 chambres confortables et 3 salles de bain. Il y a deux chambres au 2Úme étage qui ont une salle de bain privée avec douche et 2 chambres au rez-de-chaussée qui partagent une grande baignoire Jack et Jill avec un combo baignoire / douche. Le grand salon / cuisine / salle à manger central voûté a beaucoup d'espace pour votre famille ou votre groupe pour cuisiner, dßner et se détendre ensemble. Nous avons récemment rénové la cuisine avec un jeu de couleurs fraßches blanc et turquoise, un nouveau comptoir d'ßlot en quartz et de nouveaux appareils. Nous avons remplacé tous les tapis et les planchers des chambres. Il y a une télévision de 42 "dans le salon, visible depuis la cuisine et les coins repas. Il y a aussi un accÚs WIFI dans toute la maison. Le porche couvert a une vue limitée sur l'océan mais beaucoup d'ombre pour le café du matin et les aprÚs-midi paresseux. La cour clÎturée est un endroit génial pour se détendre à l'ombre ou se détendre dans le bain à remous aprÚs une journée excitante à la plage ou à la piscine. Nous aimons absolument notre maison et Ocean Isle Beach pour sa beauté détendue et décontractée et nous savons que vous aussi!

Great location! Right across the street from a beach access, and walkable to restaurants/putt putt/ice cream. House is well stocked with kitchen needs and beach toys, and we really enjoyed hanging out on the front porch.

This was our second annual cousins girls beach trip where 5 of us girls (all cousins) get together for a weekend away at the beach. This house was perfect for our stay. Right across the street from the beach access for an easy walk to the sand, plus the pool across the other street for a fun alternative afternoon hang out spot. The house had what we needed and was clean and cozy for our stay.

Very spacious. The kitchen is well appointed and labeled, so items can be replaced properly for next guest. The bikes were ready to ride with great tires. The porch is great with lots of seating. The place feels bigger than what is advertised! I understand why this host has so many return customers. The 5 star ratings are legit.

Family VACA 2025

Our family loves OIB !!! It’s our LOVE TIME !!! We’ve stayed on Isle Plaza for the last 10yrs and our kids LOVE being close to COUSINS !! (We spent 25 yrs going to IOP,SC and then 25 yrs at Ocean Creek Resort in NMB,SC )
 It’s a sweet tradition of 10 days at the beach with extended family where we play ,eat, connect and just SPEND TIME TOGETHER !! My Mother always said “ You spell LOVE .. T I M E 
 !!! It’s so true ! We enjoyed staying at the Mermaid Tale and making sweet,precious new memories together !!! Until next time

Can’t wait to come back!

This was our 2nd year at Mermaid’s Tale and we were already planning our 3rd before we left. The house was exactly as described; clean, stocked throughout the house and beach chairs, games, etc. Communication with the owners was very fast and they were very accommodating. A major plus for being just across the street to the beach access and pool since we had some kiddos. Thank you for a great vacation!

Perfect home for a family, or with friends

Our family of five, and our friend’s family of 4 shared the house for quick work retreat in the area. The location makes for super easy beach access. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the kitchen tools and appliances, dishes, cups, bowls you could need for several people. The house was very comfortable and offered plenty of space for the 9 of us. There are beach toys, chairs, boogie boards, and bikes to use as well. Overall very thoughtful and thoroughly stocked all around. We opted for linens, and the washing and drying and folding did take a bit of time (we started the night before we left with most of the towels, which helped us have less in the morning). The convenience of not having to bring our own sheets and towels from out of state made it worth it. Would visit again!

Great vacation spot

We enjoyed our stay at this home. The short walk to the beach and parking for so many vehicles was great for our party of 8 since we are coming from many different directions and parking is always one of our main issues when trying to find a place to stay. The kitchen was well equipped. Only thing missing in kitchen is an ice maker in the refrigerator. We enjoyed each night on the front porch. Owner responded quickly to our inquiries. We would definitely stay here again.

Cute place but a couple issues

We loved how close to the beach the rental was with ample parking available which was a bonus and we all enjoyed sitting on the front porch. Host was very responsive to all inquiries which was nice too. We did have a couple small issues. Electric outlets in bathrooms did not work and were not fixed by resetting them, gas grill was not in working order (problem with leaking tank & rust on the grilling surface), we killed 2 cockroaches and even though the listing said bikes were available from May 1st (we rented 4/30-5/3), they were not on site. Realize our rental date started the last day of April but we were there for 3 days in May. I would have brought my own bike if I knew theirs weren't available. Also we found that there was garbage in the recycling bins so that negated being proactive with recycling and there was an electric griddle that was not clean, grease on top and in catch cup under it. All in all a cute place but could use a little more attention to these details.

Wonderful spring break

We loved staying at Mermaid’s Tale! The proximity to the town center and the beach were perfect. We walked to the park every day and were steps away from the beach access. It was lovely! And great communication with the host.

We relocated to Ocean Isle Beach, NC from St. Paul, MN and loved it! We have always been avid boaters with a deep love of the outdoors and especially the beach. When the opportunity arose to come to OIB, we jumped at the chance to live near the ocean. We had 2 daughters in college and an empty nest, so we decided to fill our extra time with buying a beach house and making it our own. We spent the 6 months after we arrived renovating our house and turning it into "Mermaid's Tale". We are excited to share it with you!

Our family was initially drawn to Ocean Isle Beach because of the call from the ocean after living in the Midwest our whole lives. So, when we started researching the properties on the Island, we couldn't pass up the opportunity to be right across the street from the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. Not to mention when you want to get away form the salt and sand, we are also directly across from our local community pool. With the kids not living at home anymore, we had plenty of time to renovate Mermaid's Tale and turn it into our dream ocean side home. In addition, an ideal vacation rental with its four bedrooms and three full baths for plenty of privacy and comfort. Vacation groups and families will also enjoy the combined kitchen-dining-living space for games, relaxing, and group meals. Although Mermaid's tale is a rental, we hope you will be able to feel at home and as comfortable as we do when staying here in OIB!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

The ocean view at Mermaid's Tale and the sound of crashing waves through open windows or from the porch are what initially drew us here. The open floor plan perfectly fits the way we live and entertain. I still pinch myself every time I walk across the street for my beach walk!
