Great place to stay

The property was clean and well kept. The location was convenient to town and other locations we went while there. It was appreciated that it was pet friendly!! Definitely recommend and would stay again!

Cozy cabin convenient to everything!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The cabin had everything we needed and was so convenient to Boone and all the things we wanted to do. Although it was close to Boone, it still had the mountain cabin feel. Would definitely stay here again.

Great getaway

we really enjoyed our little getaway to the Boone, Blowing Rock area. Close to Boone and convenient to blowing rock The cabin was great, exceptionally clean, and had a nice Front porch for morning, coffee. The host was especially good to communicate.

If you're going to Boone, you just can't beat this!

Beautiful location, beautiful cabin! Feels secluded even though you are 100 yards away from other homes. Location is extremely convenient to Boone and a good launching pad for any other destinations in the area. View is exhilarating!

Great Cabin with a Great View

This is a well decorated and maintained cabin. We thoroughly enjoyed the deck and the view. The host was very available and accommodating for anything we needed. The location is easily accessible to Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, Boone and much more. We would definitely return to this location.

Annual Fall Mountain Trip

Hillside Hideaway was perfect for our annual fall trip to the area. The cabin is well appointed with nice "extras" provided, and sits in a peaceful, quiet setting. It was also very convenient to the places we wanted to go. Steven is a great host and was very communicative and helpful both before and during our stay. We will definitely be booking Hillside Hideaway again!

Our new favorite!

Everything about our stay was just awesome! Steven went above and beyond with our check-in. The cabin itself was very well stocked, especially with little things most owners tend to forget about. The beds were nice and comfy and the front porch view is amazing! We loved that we felt like we were way up in the mtns away from everything but in reality just a few mins from downtown. We will absolutly be staying here again!

My Favorite Mountain Getaway

This is my 3rd time staying at this home, but the first under this ownership. Steve has done a great job of upgrading the property. It is very clean and has everything you could need. I love the location- only 5 minutes from King Street in Boone. The view is great. Feels like you are a bit in the country but so close to town. Loved it so much booked another stay during check-out for 2 months later!

Wonderful getaway

This cabin is great for two couples, even though you can sleep more. Each couple has their own bedroom and bathroom with common area between. Well stocked kitchen, everything you need. Beautiful view from the porch. Really nice bathrooms. Driveway is a little bit of a steep climb, but we managed, and I am not a very good driver

Lovely Home

Clean, well-maintained property and a friendly host. Steven was responsive and helpful, particularly regarding our arrival (we were to arrive after dark, and Steven made sure to turn the exterior lights on since the cabin is set back from the road a bit. Made it much easier to find!) Location is in easy driving distance of all three ski facilities in Boone. Each bedroom (there are two) has its own attached bathroom - and one of them has an oversized tub! (I'm 6'2" so that was the first proper bath I've had in years!) Kitchen is well-apportioned and maintained. We had a lovely time in Boone. Next time I'm back I'll definitely look for this cabin!

I was born and raised in Columbus Georgia. Joined the Marine Corps right after graduating High School where i spent almost 12 years serving my country proudly. I found my way to Boone due to my wifes enrollment at Appilachian State. After my military service I spent most of my time volunterring and helping people within my community.

After my military service I spent 10 years helping people working for free and one of those people I helped ended up becoming a truly great friend of mine and sold me the properties.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Would have to say the location. The cabin is set in a calm and quiet neighborhood away from it all, but is just right on the outskirts of town being ~5 minutes from Boone and about ~15 minutes to everything else.
