The house was a perfect alternative option for a wedding across the street at the Tides Inn. The house was well stocked and had everything we needed for our stay!

We recently stayed at High Tide for a wedding and had a wonderful experience. The house was very clean, and the layout was spacious and comfortable for our group. Check-in and checkout were both super easy. The location couldn't be better- just a short walk to the charming town of Irvington, The Tides Inn Resort, and nearby restaurants. Could use outlets in bathrooms for getting ready more easily. Overall it was a great stay and hope to comeback soon.

Wedding visit

The property was really lovely. The location was perfect. The access to the Tides Inn was wonderful. The house had so many lovely comfortable rooms . The outside area was beautiful as well. I only wish we could have stayed longer .

Great Weekend at High Tide!

We stayed at High Tide for a weekend away with another family. The house was perfect for our 2 families- the location couldn't be better, and the house had everything we needed and more. Couldn't ask for a better spot to explore Irvington!

Delightful in every way.

We have an annual needlepoint retreat every year and rent a house to accommodate us. High Tides met all of our expectations.

Prime location!

We loved High Tide for many things but mostly the location! The Tides Inn is right across the street and it’s a lovely quiet street. The decorating is lovely and fresh. It’s perfect for a wedding party or just a big family! Thank you we will come again!

Great Spot

We had guests from Hawaii, Alabama and Ohio. Everyone had their own space which was great. If your having a wedding at the Tides Inn this would be a great place to stash guests.

The property is in need of a major cleaning - top to bottom! Also, the bathrooms are in need of repair. Broken tiles, rusted or no covers on floor heat registers. Overall the kitchen was not clean and the floor was sticky and nasty. The appliances and trash cans were not clean. The living area is nice but on Sunday we had no TV due to the owner changing a password. Because this is a five bedroom house we feel more seating in the living room would be helpful. Also, the dining room table only had six chairs. It did have two bar stools but it would have been nice to be able to sit together at meal time. It is a lovely location but the house has not been taken care of properly.

We take cleanliness very seriously and have followed up with our cleaning team regarding the concerns mentioned. We’re also addressing the bathroom tile and register covers as part of ongoing maintenance to this older home. Regarding the TV, access was interrupted after a security issue required us to change the password associated with our personal Google account, which unfortunately affected YouTube TV access during your stay. We apologize for that inconvenience. We appreciate the kind words about the living space and location and will use the rest of your feedback as we continue making improvements to the home.

We hosted our wedding guests in this lovely home and they were delighted with every aspect - gorgeous view, elegant decor, and thoughtful amenities. Communication with the home owners and managers was prompt, thorough, and very helpful. Knowing that our guests experienced a peaceful and relaxing getaway added to our wedding enjoyment. High Marks for High Tide!

We loved spending our girls' weekend at High Tide, a beautiful home so close to everything charming about Irvington! The bedrooms were spacious, well-appointed, and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with anything we needed, and we gathered around the dining room table when we weren't sitting in front of the fireplace. If the weather had been better, we would have spent time outside on the patio. We would definitely return to this perfect gem of a home!

Anniversary Escape with Family & Friends

We found High Tide to be a beautiful, spacious home with a fantastic layout and nice decor. Everyone enjoyed the visit and their accommodations. The open living area with a big screen TV was our meeting space. The location and use of the golf cart made our trips to The Tide's Inn so easy. There were a few things we shared with the owner and she was very receptive. The only major downside with the home is the kitchen was missing some essential items and the primary bath did not have any outlets. We would definitely make a repeat visit!

I am sorry to say that we were disappointed with the house. We felt that the house was not clean for example we had to clean the kitchen counters and touch up the bathrooms and one toilet smelled awful. We felt that all the windows and screens were dirty as well as we couldn’t sit out front because of the mold.

The location was great and the bedrooms and living room were attractive and clean, the house fit all of us nicely.The bathrooms were not described online and no photos of them so we were surprised to see how out dated and in such bad shape they are. Two toilets were so loose they weren’t safe to use.The kitchen was not clean and there was coffee still in the coffee pot and grounds in the filter, crumbs on the table, used condiments and crumbs in the refrigerator. We had to wipe everything down including inside the fridge so it was a bit disappointing.

(from email just sent) Amber and Marston First the property was quite nice and we enjoyed staying there. The main thing you need to address is the infestation of ants. They were all over the kitchen cabinets and dishes when we got there. Little more on the ants/bugs: In the kitchen around the sink, at the window, under sink, and inside & outside all cabinets from the window/sink around to the refrigerator. Could not use any dishes or glasses unless we washed them. Especially the glasses where we just bought some cheap glasses from Wal-Mart. There were some bugs and ants in differing parts of the house, but not like the kitchen. We will consider staying there again, but obviously you need to get the exterminator there before the next guests Thanks
