We love Hilton Head
It was a lovely place. Great location. Nice indoor and outdoor pools, which we used. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean and updated. The beach gear from the rental place had good quality equipment. We loved having the outdoor balcony and the table and chairs out there! This was a great property, but there are a few things that could really improve and take it from great to excellent. It felt like it was “almost” there. 1. Bed in the master bedroom had a foam topper on it. Not only was it highly uncomfortable, but gross. It was under the sheet with no protector over it. This master bedroom would benefit from a king-size bed with plenty of room for one. 2. Put mattress protectors on all the beds. No one wants to sleep in a bed with just a sheet over a mattress. 3. Hooks! You need places to hang your stuff when on a beach vacation! Hooks to hang towels are a huge lack here. 4. Luggage racks or something. Nothing to put your suitcases on. 5. Smart TV! Cable is out. Smart TVs are inexpensive, and everyone has their own accounts to log into their streaming apps. 6. Update the washer and dryer. So nice to have but you could only fit like 4 things in it with the old-school agitator and the dryer tool forever to dry. The lint area was broken and even when you cleaned out the lint the venting behind it was full. 7. The other reviewer is correct the couch is soft so much so it really feels like it is broken down not purposely that soft.
