Nestled in the heart of the Crystal Shores neighborhood in Destin, Lazy Bones is in the ideal location - just a five-minute walk to the beach and a short golf cart ride to restaurants and shopping! Sleeping 21 guests across seven bedrooms, this enormous beach house is perfect for your next large group event. Offering a private pool, plus all the nearby attractions, Lazy Bones has something for everyone!

Lazy Bones will welcome you in with its Florida charm and wrap-around porches. Inside, a calm color palette and natural light flooding the space provides a comfortable, spacious feel. Ample seating is offered in the living room with three couches and chairs so the whole group can gather and conversate or watch a movie, while kids will love the pay-to-play arcade game nearby! The eat-in kitchen is well equipped with a four burner gas stove, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and casual dining for six. Formal dining is also available nearby seating eight.

Most of your time will be spent on the amazing back patio that is fully decked with composite decking - no splinters! Guests can play in the pool or lounge poolside to soak up some sun.

Two bedrooms are available on the second floor - a twin/twin/twin bunk room, and the primary king suite. The king suite is spacious and features a living room with pull out couch, fireplace, and access to a large, wrap-around balcony. The private en-suite includes a soaking tub, shower, dual sinks, and water closet.
The third floor offers two more bedrooms. A king bedroom with direct access to a full, semi-private bathroom, plus access to the wrap-around balcony, and another king bedroom with a private bathroom.

For those that need more privacy, additional accommodations can be found in the carriage house. On the first floor a double queen bedroom is available that has a private bathroom. Upstairs, another queen bedroom and a twin/twin bunk room share a bathroom. This space features a full, eat-in kitchen as well.

Lazy Bones is located just a five minute golf cart ride to premier shopping at the Destin Commons and the iconic Crab Trap Destin, the place for fresh seafood and dinner with a view! Overall stay was wonderful! The dryer does not have hot air and took a long time to dry anything. The amenities stated there were backpack beach chairs but we were told that it doesn’t come with the house. However we were given 4 chairs and 2 umbrellas at the beach which was nice.

Beautiful home

Everything about the house was nice enough room for everyone the only problem I had was the pool got popping up to clean the pool without knocking on the door I looked outside and he scared the crap out in f me but after that I walked out and introduced myself and he seems pretty cool

Nice house to stay with friends

Everything is good and clean. But there is something i dislike about this property: 1. The rooms are not convenient with 2 rooms have bunk beds. It's really hard to distribute to families 2. There is not enough space for parking.

Lazy Bones Family Reunion

We had a great time. Spent a lot of time in the pool. House was good. A few repairs needed as we arrived. They were very fast at fixing every request. Kitchen sink still broken after repair request. We could only use one side with bucket underneath. There was a bucket when we arrived and repair was attempted, but ended up the drain was pushed up too much and popped. If that sink repair would have been done the first day the stay would have been perfect. Thanks for a great week. We loved the beaches and the amazing white sand.

The property location was amazing. The pool was great and the room variety was perfect for the mixture of family and friends in our party. The golf cart and bicycles made for easy trips to the beach and if walking the beach was only 5 minutes away. Those were the pros. Unfortunately the dishwasher was broken and didn’t work the entire week. The dryer was broken and didn’t work the entire and neither did the ice maker. I called the property company twice to receive updates and they weren’t 100% accurate. However I will say that management company was very nice and accommodating. They dropped off clean towels as well as took our dirty laundry out to clean and fold and brought it back in 24 hours. They also brought bags of ice and paper products for us to use since the dishwashing wasn’t working. I understand that maintenance is hard for rentals especially in the summer when the unit is booked solid, but it was unfortunate that all of these appliances were out of commission all at once.

Nice place, but listing was innacurate

When we booked this house back in November, the title of the listing said it included a hot tub. When I called in January to confirm everything, I also inquired about where the hot tub was because I did not see it in the pictures. I was told they would look into it and get back to me but I heard nothing. Then I noticed as we got closer to our trip, the listing changed the title to its current title. I was offered nothing as compensation for this. Also, after I spoke to someone a week before my reservation about the heated pool and confirmed the heat would be turned on the day of our arrival, it actually was not turned on and we had to call the office a couple days after arriving to come turn it on.

Spacious Beach House with Disappointing Cleanliness and Amenities

We stayed at this beach house for a week, and while the location was fantastic, the experience was disappointing. The home is spacious, perfect for a large family, and the kitchen was well-equipped with plenty of beach toys for the kids. Its proximity to the beach was definitely a highlight. However, we encountered multiple issues. The check-in process was frustrating because we didn’t receive the door code on time, leaving us stuck outside after a long trip. The listing also mentioned a hot tub, which the house did not have, and the cleanliness was a major issue—sand was everywhere, and there was trash left on the balconies and in the kitchen. Additionally, the AC didn’t work the entire week, making the house uncomfortably hot. Another problem was the extremely loud pool door alarm that went off every time someone opened the kitchen door. Worst of all, there were cockroaches in the kitchen, which was unacceptable. While the house has great potential due to its space and location, the cleanliness, misleading amenities, and broken AC made the stay far from enjoyable.
