The Fern Creek Cottage is a darling one bedroom home located on the Murphys Creek. Perfect for a relaxing get-away! It has a shaded patio on the river as well as a sunny dining area next to the house. Fish for trout from the footbridge (fishing license needed) or dip your feet in the cool water that winds around the island.

The house was equipped with everything needed for a great stay. The creek and garden are peaceful. Easy walk into main street Murphys.

Great little house on a beautiful creek setting. Convient location with short walk to town. Clean and cozy. Was very hot (100 plus) in the area that weekend. Could use a better fan in the evening . Air conditioning worked well. Definitely would return again for another great weekend.

This was a fabulous property with a very helpful host. The creek in the back is breathtaking and very soothing. Very private and cozy. Highly recommend.

This was a fantastic place to stay. It is very clean, well stocked and so peaceful. We were there during the fire and the contact woman was extremely helpful providing information on evacuation, and assured us she will call if anything changes. Will definitely stay there again

The cottage is just adorable and the sound of the water running by is so relaxing with a glass of wine in hand. The place was very clean and just right for 2 people. If there is a negative at all, it's just that you have to cross a busy road if you want to walk into downtown Murphy's. We drove most of the time anyway. Highly recommend!

Fern Creek Cottage

Nice little place by Murphy Creek. Clean & tidy. Only priblem with our stay was the overflowing a/c bucket upon arrival. It created quite a mess but got it cleaned up fine. Loved the sound of the creek.

Great cottage!

This was perfect for my husband and i and our pup. The ambiance of the cottage was spectacular. Very quiet neighborhood. I would recommend this property for your stay. Hopeful to return in the future.

The property was clean and very nice loved the creek and outdoor space. We also loved Murphy... what and amazing little town with great food and wine. Decided however that this location is not really walkable from the house as there is an extremely busy road between the two.

Murphys Cottage

We used the town of Murphys to visit the Big Trees State Park for several days. A great location to visit this area of California. The cottage was wonderful, and the town had several good restaurants and shops.

A much needed getway

I booked this place for our anniversary. I wanted something peaceful, quaint but still close to downtown Murphys. The pictures are exactly how it is. Although, the pictures could be better. This little cottage was perfect! We chose to park by the rock wall and walk over the bridge to get to the front door. You feel like you are in your own paradise. We (my husband) cooked breakfast and dinner on the bbq. I know there were great restaurants recommended but we wanted to enjoy the property. We had our coffee by the creek every morning. There is coffee, tea and popcorn provided. The bed was comfortable and we had everything we needed. The property is right off of hwy 4 so during the day it is loud from traffic but you don't hear it from the house. It is less than a mile walk into downtown Murphys from the cottage. We will definitely stay here when in murphys!! Thank you

Lovely place. Right on a beautiful creek with a nice outdoor seating area. Cottage was represented accurately in the photos and description. Very comfortable. Well stocked kitchen.
