This one of a kind, custom built home was built by an artist and the home itself is like a piece of his beautiful art. The original builder was a logger by trade and hand built the entire home and almost all of the furniture inside. It is a true "Log Home" with incredible character and detail. Many of the builder's paintings are displayed for your enjoyment throughout the home. The private location in the woods and unique wall mounts, make it a hunter's paradise!

Great Place to Stay for RTJ Trail

Great property, everything you want! Super flexible check in process, great cabin with a great feel for a trip. Stayed to play some golf in Capitol Hill and 20 minutes away but more secluded and great deal! Will book again if in Montgomery area :)

Very clean, cozy, and cute!

This cabin is actually better in person than in the photos! It was the perfect hidden spot and had everything we needed. Alyson was also super responsive any time I needed anything!

Short drive to everywhere

This house was close to the ball park our son was playing at for All-stars. When we were done with the games, he had plenty of room to run and play outside. Inside the house was perfection with the little details. Downtown was also a quick drive to eat or shop. Definitely would recommend to all our friends and family.

Cabin great...Dog not a fan

The cabin over all was great. Kids loved the loft area. It is very cozy. Wished we didn't have a busy weekend to enjoy the cabin itself. The only down fall I have is the dog on property. I did not see that when I first reserved this. If I would have I more than likely would not have booked. The dog growled and barked every time we came outside to get in the car.

Awesome Hunting Cabin

The cabin was great! There is plenty of parking and the cabin itself is pretty big and comfortable. It was decorated very nice and everything worked as expected. The shower was the coolest part. We all commented on how well done it was. Very neat idea. Oh and the dog Achilles is a big baby and really sweet. We enjoyed him hanging out with us on the porch. And lastly Alyson was very nice and helpful when i had questions. She responded quickly and was a pleasure to work with. Would definitely recommend to others. Thanks!!

Day of arrival, they tell me they have on going bug issues and was not professional how the matter was taken care of, nice cabin but not in good location

Hi Robert, We always appreciate feedback – both positive and negative. It helps us to improve our short-term rental and our services and make sure that we are meeting the needs of our guests. We tried our best to stay in close contact with you and make things right during your stay. The pest control went back out to the property to spray, we offered free house cleaning during your stay and reimbursed a portion of your nightly rate. This area battled with millipedes at the beginning of this year, the increased rain we were having at the time seemed to draw them out randomly. The house was and still is under regular pest control maintenance with a local company. Our guests are so important to us! We apologize we could not make your experience a positive one, especially with the cabin's peaceful country setting. We appreciate you choosing to stay with us!

It has 2 bedrooms, a loft area with a futon bed, a full bath with a custom-built tin-walled shower, a half bath, and a screened-in porch! It sleeps a total of 7 people comfortably.

It is convenient to our charming downtown area of Prattville and a short drive to Montgomery. Enjoy the local restaurants, shops, kayaking, and some of the best fishing and hiking spots in Alabama. Enjoy a round of golf nearby at the famous Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail.

Enjoy the comforts and convenience of home, in a unique space all to yourself. You won't want to leave with the coziness and relaxing atmosphere, the beautiful wood-burning fireplace, the porch with views of nature, and the fire pit, perfect for gathering and star gazing.
