I was not told that the balcony was blocked off until I arrived at the unit. I contacted VRBO and the host and VRBO REPRESENTATIVE told me that I would receive a partial refund. And that the host would see about getting the balcony accessible which never happened. If I had known that we could not use the balcony which is something we were looking forward to, I would have not have chosen that unit. Also the linens and pillows in the main bedroom room smelled awful. There was a terrible body order scent on them. All of the balcony furniture was placed in different areas of the living room which made it very crowded and uncomfortable for the 6 of us. I was overall disappointed in our stay. I have rented other units at Shores of Panama via VRBO before and was very pleased but I wasn't at all happy with this stay.

We enjoyed the stay area was good location. Elevators were the worse part being on the 21st floor but was a good stay.

Great Vacation

We stayed here for our family, we had a great time considering Hurricane Idalia was coming our way. The room was nice and clean. I would recommend bringing a blend. There wasn't one in the room. We had a great view of the ocean and the pool. We really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful, Clean, Wonderful Stay!

Our stay at this Shores of Panama condo was great! The condo is well furnished, clean, spacious, and comfortable. The host is prompt with communication as well. The resort style pool was top notch and condo balcony had fantastic views of the beach and lovely pool area. We had plenty of linens & towels and everything we used worked properly. The parking garage is a little tight of a squeeze for parking, however we never had much difficulty finding a space. During peak hours, it can take some time to get on an elevator. Overall, I would highly recommend this condo. Overall A+ stay!

Family fun

Despite very mixed reviews I read about the resort on Facebook we had a fantastic time. The resort staff is amazing. They are continually cleaning and maintaining the property. Always greet with a smile and security was everywhere. We felt very safe and comfortable. The unit itself was cozy. We had small hiccups when we arrived but the owner was very responsive and had all of our concerns addressed and fixed immediately. There was a beach cart and a tent in the closet as well as a few chairs and tubes. The resort also had a take and leave box by the beach entrance so we had tons of supplies for the kids on the beach. The location was also a plus! Walmart/liquor stores/ souvenir stores and everything you need is pretty much walking distance. The view from this room is amazing as well! Our family of 5 had a wonderful week and comfortable stayed with plenty of room and no complaints from anyone.

Spacious, Great Views, Excellent shelling and my teenagers made tons of friends.

This was our second spring break at the Shores of Panama, and it did not disappoint! We specifically returned to this resort, because my three teenagers made friends so easily during our first stay. The condo was very spacious with a huge deck and magnificent view overlooking the pool and the ocean. The kitchen is well equipped. The only thing I didn’t have was a cookie sheet but I just used the broiler pan and that worked fine. The owner had beach chairs on the deck for us to use and they also provide a collapsible wagon, which is great for carrying groceries to the condo or taking toys to the beach. The condo owner had great communication with us even at night when we couldn’t figure out something with the TV. With our first trip to Shores of Panama, we stayed in a direct gulf front condo but we actually liked this one much more. The view is great And the condo is Conveniently located near the elevators and parking as well as all amenities. The price to rent this condo was a real value. I was concerned that maybe the ocean view wouldn’t be that great but I was wrong. It is amazing. If you look at the Shores if Panama reviews they are mixed. If you rent from a private party like Pavel, You can’t go wrong. 
..And just an FYI if you like Shelling, if you go into the surf up to your knees, especially at low tide, you will find Flawless, conch shells, nutmegs, olive shells etc etc. Bring a dollar store kids net with you. I was in heaven:)

Inconsistencies

We found bags of trash under the master bed, as well as loose trash in the first master dresser and under the second master bed. We had fewer towels than we were supposed to, 6 towels for 7 people, and contact with the property manager resulted in no changes. We ended up buying additional towels, and may have left a few there, so maybe the next guest will benefit. The smoke detector started beeping the last two nights. We messaged the property manager, who again responded to messages without any actual result. There was a comforter in the second master bedroom, inside a basket. It was covered in debris, which went everywhere when we picked it up. Towels and linens were mostly stained with unpleasant colors. The surfaces, fans, doors, cabinets, and dressers were dust covered. The check in process is a bit chaotic. We witnessed two incidents in the parking garage, due to limited space to operate. The elevators are slow and packed. It took us an hour to make two trips to our room to unload. Elevators often are down, and there seems to be only 4 in the entire facility, a 23 story facility. The facility as a whole is a lovely place, with great amenities, and an amazing ocean view/access. Most of the issues are isolated to the specific rental property, and the communication with the property manager.

Beautiful view. Could've used a bit more cleaning, which we did (especially the bathrooms). The door to the bunk room was messed up. Overall, a nice space. It was very crowded, so it took a while to catch an elevator; however, we would stay there again.
