Cottage retreat at Blue Cove on the Rainbow River

The cottage at Blue Cove is a 1,400 square ft, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom retreat located on Blue Cove on the beautiful Rainbow River. You can bring your own boat and keep it at the private dock and/or you can utilize one of our canoes or kayaks during your stay. The cottage has everything that you need to head out for a river adventure or to be entertained indoors. There are 3 smart televisions in the home with streaming services, a game room with a retro style video game system, a ping pong table in the garage, board games and corn hole boards for playing out back.

At the entrance to the neighborhood there is a restaurant and bar on the water that you can boat to or even walk. The cottage is ideal for families or couples looking for a peaceful escape to one of Florida's most beautiful natural waterways. The cottage is close to downtown Dunnellon so picking up groceries and supplies is not going to take time away from your vacation. Conveniently located 1 hour from the University of Florida, 23 minutes to Crystal River, 5 minutes from biking trails and 30 minutes to The World Equestrian Center in Ocala. There is plenty of parking for your boat trailer after you put in at one of the local public boat ramps.

Please note that the home does have private access to the river but the steps down to the the water are steep and people that have mobility issues may find the stairs difficult to navigate. There are outdoor security cameras on the property. This is a family property for a maximum of 6 adults or 8 total people including children and no parties or pets are allowed.
