Fully fenced, pet friendly property on half an acre. Fun trails with lots of sniffing opportunities! Located in a quiet neighborhood with no adjacent properties, giving you lots of peace & privacy. Just 3 min walk to bay & 7 min walk to beach, beach cart provided, along with 2 bikes & outdoor games. There is also a fire pit in the yard for fun evenings with family & friends. A charcoal BBQ is located in the back yard.
New build completed in March 2023, with 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms, one with a tub. Fully equipped kitchen with every gadget! Laundry facilities included.
A comfortable spacious screened porch over looks the front of the property, where you can enjoy sunrises & sunsets. Also a rear deck with great views.
We love dogs so have no restriction on number or size, nor do we charge a pet fee. Pet bowls & beds and 1 large crate provided.
State park is just a mile away, where you can launch a boat.
3 restaurants on the Cape, 1 bar & 2 general stores.
The deeded beach access dune was renourished earlier this year, but sometimes the tide and storms make it a challenge to access the beach - in this case, the public access is just down the road - see map.
We do not charge a pet fee or mind how many you have, but please let us know how many you are bringing so we can let the cleaners know a head of time - thank you.
If you give us their names, we'll add a stick to the dogwood tree!

Wow, what an amazing place! Everything was even better than described and better than the pictures. We have stayed at many places on the Cape with our dogs, but Murray and Emma's home is the best. Our two springers, Tuck and Bear loved the yard. We loved how dog friendly the house is. Bowls, beds and sofa covers were bonus and greatly appreciated. We have found our yearly beach rental on the Cape. Thanks Murray and Emma!

The home is excellent for a family and extremely pet friendly. The kitchen is by far one of the most well equipped that I have seen for a vacation rental home. The location is nice for those who want to have access to the beach without the noise. I mostly liked the quiet sunrises and sunsets on the screened porch. They really do think of everything for your comfort. Great communication with the host.

This was one of the best rentals we have ever stayed in! It had everything you could need for a beach vacay! The fenced in yard was perfect for our dog to roam. This was our first time to Cape San Blas. Amazing!!! The seafood is this area is unbeatable! We ate out every meal and were never disappointed! Drive into Port St Joe for more yummy food! Don’t try to rent a golf cart though. It is against Florida law to cross the highway in a golf cart. The walk to the beach or bay isn’t bad. And they have a wagon or bikes to use! Amazing!

We absolutely loved our stay! From the moment we arrived, it was obvious the owners had truly thought of everything, not just for the humans, but for our pups too. Traveling with dogs can sometimes be challenging, but this home made it effortless and welcoming.The beds were some of the most comfortable we've ever slept in, and the porches were our favorite place to relax with coffee in the morning and unwind in the evening. The outdoor shower was fantastic after long days at the beach and quickly became one of our favorite amenities.The owners were incredibly kind, responsive, and genuinely cared that we had a wonderful stay. Their communication was excellent from start to finish.This house felt like a home away from home, and we can't wait to come back. If you're looking for a beautiful, comfortable, pet-friendly place in Cape San Blas, you won't be disappointed!

Perfect Getaway

Spent a long weekend in fantastic accommodations. Had everything we needed and more. Favorites were the screen porch and walking the property with our dogs. Looking forward to returning but for a longer stay!

We had an amazing experience at Driftwoof. The house is beautiful, clean and the most dog friendly house we’ve ever been to! Our dogs had an amazing time! We will definitely be back!

Great property and experience

We had a wonderfully relaxing and fun stay. Cody our labradoodle loved the property and gives it 5 woofs! The humans enjoyed the beach, the bay and the cape for all it has to offer. The house was wonderful and the hosts were the best! Will look to book here for the future.

They’ve thought of everything for your pups, guests & the beach was nice too! Beautiful white sand! Highly recommend the White Marlin for dinner (expensive but worth it) communication what excellent & property is wonderful!

Our favorite pet friendly getaway

The Driftwoof is such a perfect getaway, convenient to the beach, bay and state park. The small details making sure that our pups had everything needed were a nice touch. Kayaks and paddle boards were fun for exploring the bay at sunrise! Will be back next year!

What an awesome dog-friendly rental!

Although we weren't able to fully complete our stay (thanks, hurricane!), we enjoyed the time we had at Driftwoof. The owner was readily available for communication, and the home was even better than described. Our new pup loved it, too! We are definitely planning on staying at Driftwoof again.

We had the best time! The place was exactly as described and very nice. It was very dog friendly, which was a big reason we chose Drift Woof. Murray, the owner was very communicative and friendly, checking on us while we stayed. We could not have been more happy with our stay and will definitely be back. Thanks Murray!

Great dog friendly beach house with everything you need

We truly enjoyed this home. They included more than the basics- we were able to use their kayaks, dog supply’s, and they even made a cute sign with our pups name on it. Highly highly recommend. Oh & great with communication!

Driftwoof, for people and pups

The house was great! We enjoyed using the bikes and paddleboards. The outdoor space provided room for us to spread out and let our dog have some off leash fun. The beach walk took us closer to 10 minutes, but the private access point was easy to drive to for setting up gear for the day. It was so nice to have beach space that wasn't crowded!

We have owned and operated a number of pet friendly rental properties on Cape San Blas over the years, Sandy Paws, Salty Paws, Soggyy Paws, Sunny Paws, and Dune Paws.
All have since been re-homed, and we now have Driftwoof to offer.
We feel that most pet owners want to bring their pets on vacation, and why not since they are a major part of the family, so being pet friendly is our #1 concern.

Driftwoof is nicely situated on half an acre, midway between the gulf and the bay, with deeded access to both. A 7 minute walk to the beach, or a 5 minute stroll to the bay!
The property is fenced and gated, and offers a tranquil spot for both sunrises and sunsets.

Cape San Blas is known as the forgotten coast, the beaches are unspoilt, pet friendly (leash laws applies), with stunning emerald green waters.
The bay offers kayaking, dolphin watching, scalloping during the season, fishing and turtle spotting.
