WV Cozy Cabin Summit Point Races

Set in the foothills of WV, this cozy cabin on 2 acres is a haven to get away from it all. Bright and clean and an easy drive set in a central location from Winchester, VA, Summit Point, WV, Charles Town Race Track and the historic towns of Harpers Ferry and Shepherdstown, WV. Guests have stayed with us to visit family, spent their days hiking and tubing on the C&O and Potomac river, others have gone on multi-state golf retreats, had family vacations, stayed for stargazing or spent the weekend for a romantic getaway. This home away from home sits on a beautiful quiet piece of land and now has an added small fenced in area to sit and drink your coffee or hang out in the evenings. There is a dollar general and pizza shop less than a mile away for last minute snacks or dinner. Let us know if you have anything special that would make your stay better. Loved it!

This was perfect for our long holiday weekend with our beagle. Exactly as advertised and the pet friendly fenced yard was a wonderful touch. We will definitely be back when we are traveling this way again.

Ideal location and great home

We have family living in Inwood, WV. This property is ideally located for a convenient stay with our dog. In addition to the two bedrooms there is an enclosed sunroom. We were able to relax, spend time with family and also have privacy

My husband and I loved this cozy cabin! Everything is exactly as advertised. We will be reserving this place for our next visit to see family in West Virginia.

Very Nice Little Place!

I booked this little cottage for my family as we needed a temporary home while we waited for our move in day. Tara and Toni were great to my family and were quick to answer any questions or concerns we had during our 22 day stay with them! Definitely recommend if you need a cute little place to stay!

Good little place

Good, clean place to stay that is quiet. Nice hosts and no issues. Nice coffee pot. The only thing is that the door, noted in the check in instructions, was hard to operate. Would recommend and stay again.

WV Retreat

Well, right from the start the whole process was perfect! Communication with the hosts, Tony and Tara was wonderful! We had an amazing time and the place was just right for us. It was very clean and if you ever needed anything, Tony and Tara were on it. The fenced in front yard was just the right size for our little yorkie, Ellie. The place is very private and you can't hear anything happening around you. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely give Tony and Tara a call. Cozy Cabin

It’s great location for my purpose to visit with family. Big enough and spacious. Nice yard for animals or kids with fence. Owners are very nice people and available if needed. Overall I would recommend as this was my 2nd time at this cabin and will definitely book in future.

Our stay at Tara and Tony’s cabin

Our stay was absolutely amazing! The place was clean and updated with a great little fence in the front (that our pup loved)! It was in a great location with lots to do in the area. Tara and Tony were wonderful and helped give us ideas of places to go and things to do! Definitely recommend staying here! :)

Home away from home

Tara and Tony were awesome hosts, very personable and attentive to our needs...provided info about surrounding restaurants. The fenced in front yard was a huge hit with our Chow...she loved it! Lots of space in the house...loved the front den area .. will definitely be back!

Relaxing in Harpers Ferry

Had a wonderful time visiting Harpers Ferry and Shepardstown. Stayed in this wonderful cabin just outside of town. Very nice accommodations, attentive owners with welcoming messages. They offered places to visit and eat or shop. Very responsive when we reached out. Friendly. Would stay again.

Will definitely stay again and recommend this place to everybody

Although our time there was short this comfy cozy little cottage is located in a beautiful region surrounded by historical sites the house sits on a beautiful piece of property and is maintained and owned by a wonderful family who are more than accommodating the house was clean and more than adequate our host was very accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed we really enjoyed our stay and definitely plan on going back as soon as possible it was the most relaxing comforting time I've had in a while and recommend this location for anyone and everyone

home away from home

The home was very beautiful. Tara and Tony have put a lot of hard work into the property to make it very enjoyable and pleasant to stay at. plenty of property to get out and walk around, set on front porch enjoy your coffee or tea in the evening and morning time. Travel for work and my wife travels with me and she felt very comfortable and safe at the property, location is very convenient to hiking and site seeing as well as shopping. We will stay here again.

Great place! Amazing hosts :)

Tara was amazing. The house is a cute spot that was perfect for us. They built a fenced in front yard which worked out for our dogs. The privacy fence allowed us to sit on the porch for coffee each morning with our dogs and baby. The house was clean, comfortable, and had new appliances and amenities. Fantastic place. Will stay again.

Beautiful Cabin

We enjoyed our stay at Tara and Tony's beautiful cabin. The check in process was easy and the cabin was bright and clean. They are gracious hosts and let us know we could reach out if there was anything at all we needed during our stay. The cabin is located within an easy drive of all of the local towns, which makes it easy to explore the area. It's in a quiet location though and you can see the stars at night! We would definitely stay again, the next time we're in the area!

Twice As Nice!

Our 2nd time staying at Tara and Tony's house, and our stay was just as great as the first time. Clean and comfortable home away from home. Love that the dollar store is just a 1 minute drive as we forgot a couple of items. We enjoyed the property and even did some scentwork practice on the grounds with our German Shepherd. Will be our go-to house every time we visit the area. Thanks again guys!

Cozy Country Rancher

Had a wonderful four night stay at Tara and Tony's cozy country rancher! House was exactly as described, except they added a fence to the property shortly before our arrival, which was so awesome! Being able to open the front door and let our pupper outside to do her business was great (of course we picked up after her). We were in the area for an AKC event, which was just a short drive from the house. Tara and Tony were excellent hosts, and we did not lack for anything, and they were so kind to leave Easter candy and bottled water in the fridge. 100% recommend, and we plan to stay again in the summer, if they'll have us!

Location was good

Well they need to spray property for bugs. We always had little pincher bugs and centipedes in house. I hate hugs BUT I was the adult and had to kill bug’s every day and night. I know it’s dog friendly home but whoever does cleaning does not wash sofa covers they were filthy and bedding was nasty and had to put sheet on spar bed off the living room area no sheet under comforter. Twin beds didn’t even have fitted sheets on them. Remote for room with twin beds had no batteries or cover and just kept switching batteries from other remotes. No salt or pepper or oils or basic cooking seasoning stuff. I bought my own stuff. It was ok for money but probably won’t stay at this location again not fan of the bugs but Tara was nice and responded fast when I sent message to her.
