Great stay. Kids loved the pac man and shuffleboard and having their own downstairs space. Nice kitchen for us to make meals at home. We loved the lazy river and pool and put put at Rumbling Bald. Even though Lake Lure was mostly drained we still had a wonderful time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. the access to the resort was easy and the guys enjoyed the golf course. Although it rained. we still had a wonderful time. The house was amazing. It looks exactly like the photos. The lower-level carpet was stained.

The space was perfect for all 14 of us. Our family enjoyed the Shuffleboard table, Dart board and the Hot Tub. The swimming pool closest to the house was used by all, several times. Joe made our Che k in uneventful and very smooth.

Fabulous family trip!

The house was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The basement with arcade games and shuffle board was perfect for the kids. Very quick/easy drive to the beach at Rumbling Bald. The host was easy to communicate with and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Girls Weekend Away

We had a great stay. The house had plenty of room and was fully stocked. Plenty of towels and comfy beds. It was a wonderful get away for our group of 12 Women. We loved having the hot tub and fire pit as well. We will definitely be back.

I cannot say enough about this incredible house. It had everything we needed to enjoy a fun weekend with friends! It was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The house is close to the Rumbling Bald resort amenities too! The owner was wonderful to work with and very prompt and responsive. We will definitely plan another stay here!

“Girls” weekend away

We had a total of 10 ladies, ranging in age from 49 - early 80’s, stay at this beautiful property for 3 nights. We enjoyed the spacious house, lovely screened porch, the hot tub and a variety of other amenities. The host was very accessible and helpful for any little question that arose! I would highly recommend this property for families or large groups who want a private, quiet retreat to the Carolina foothills!

We used this property for our hiking group. There only ended up being 8 of us so weeere able to spread out and enjoy this beautiful property. Joe reached and gave me directions to get inside the house and videos of how to use several items in the house, like the hot tub. He responded quickly toQuestions. The beds and bedding were so comfortable! The house is just beautiful with tons of space to spread out. We enjoyed eating around the table, using the hot tub after our hike to Chimney Rock and then Rambling Bald. We played scrabble while others enjoyed the games in the basement. It was a great weekend in a great space!

Just as Promised!

We had a wonderful and relaxing mini-vacation at this property. The home was beautiful and spacious- it looked even better in person than the pictures! The large and well appointed kitchen is a delight for anyone who enjoys cooking and the outdoor entertaining area was a treat. We especially enjoyed the arcade game! The host was very responsive and did everything possible to make our stay pleasant and pain-free. I would highly recommend this property to others looking for a family get away!

Fantastic!

Wow what a beautiful house! We could not have been more pleased with our time at Lake Lure and especially the perks with the home and what a bonus to have access to Rumbling Bald Mountain facilities! The host Mr. Speed was extremely accommodating and easy to contact with any questions we had before and during our trip! We are already planning our next visit and will definitely reserve with Mr. Speed again.

Family Holiday Gathering

This Rumbling Bald Resort home was everything we were promised and more. There was plenty of space for three families. The host was proactive and provided all the info we needed in advance of our stay. We cooked all our meals in the roomy kitchen or on the gas grill and took advantage of the fire pit and hot tub. We also spent a great deal of time on the large balcony watching deer, turkeys, squirrels, etc. We highly recommend this property.

Lake Lure Trip

This is a very beautiful and clean home with ALL the amenities you could want or need! The bedrooms are extra large and perfect for large/ multiple families. There is a huge kitchen upstairs, a large wet bar in the basement/game room and another grilling area outside. The owner is very responsive to questions we had. It is minutes away from Golf, Pools and Lake Lure! I would highly recommend this property to anyone thinking about staying in the Lake Lure area!

Immaculate Home

Our family and friends loved this home so much. It was a perfect fit for us. The teenagers loved the basement! There was plenty of seating up and downstairs. Beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The hot tub was super clean. And we used the Rumbling Bald Resort passes often. Joe was a great host and great communication. We look forward to returning!

House was amazing! Only downside was the hot tub. Water was extremely foamy. Afraid to get in it. Could see dirt in the foam. Everything else was perfect! Enjoyed our stay!!

Wonderful!

My husband and I along with our 3 adult children and their families stayed for two nights. The home is beautiful--every bit as nice as the photos or even better. With the four bedrooms we had plenty of space for each family. The kids loved the pac man and shuffleboard. The resort passes were great--we enjoyed the pool and beach. Rumbling Bald is very nice!! The owner responds very quickly to questions and is a good communicator! Five stars thumbs up from out group

Wonderful girls weekend

Our yearly girls trip was perfect at this lovely home. There were ten of us and we had plenty of room. The beds and pillows were a 10/10! The kitchen was fully stocked and a dream. There was a living area with TV on both levels. The basement level has a a small kitchen. On this level there is a large bedroom with three beds and an office space. Most importantly the house was Spotless!!! We would definitely stay at this property again if we’re in the area.

Absolute Gem- the pictures don't do it justice

The property is absolutely a gem! The whole experience couldn't have been nicer or easier for us to work with them. The house is loaded with lots of really nice touches from screen in porch with retractable screens to downstairs kitchen to old school video game machine and hot tub. Little touches like an abundance of silverware, plates, cooking utensils made it very livable. Would highly recommend the property. Joe was over the top helpful and even the neighbor we met was very nice. Overall great experience. Couldn't recommend a property more.

Spacious and beautiful

Our family of 8 adults, 4 kids and an infant loved this spacious home with its 3 huge suites and a smaller bunk room. We enjoyed the patio and screened porch in early morning and late night since it was 90+ hot during our stay. Downstairs was spacious for games and our group loved the Pac-Man machine. The pool and RB beach area were lots of fun. House was spotless and Joe was the best host, always prompt to reply, even when we left behind some items. Plenty of space for cooking and dining in and an easy drive to Lake Lure area. Huge closets, so no tripping over suitcases, and lots of space for the kids to play indoors. Beautiful home!

Beautiful home

Wow! This home exceeded all of our expectations. We were so pleased. The home was beautiful, and our host Joe was fantastic and was quick to respond to any of my questions. I will highly recommend this home and would gladly return for future vacations. My siblings and I took our parents for their 58th Anniversary, although the stairs were a little tricky getting up and down for them, it was manageable. The neighborhood was very quiet, and the wooded area and garden in the back provided enough privacy to enjoy entertaining. I could go on and on about the amenities to this property. We will be back.
