Century Chalet - Tons of Light & Amazing Location!

We are excited to offer our beautiful guest house on VRBO after lots of positive experiences on other platforms.

This space has tons of natural light and all the amenities you'll need in the best location Bend has to offer. 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath, with a sunroom which can easily be used as a second bedroom whenever needed. The house has a full kitchen with stainless appliances.

Best of all, you can't get any closer to Mt. Bachelor, the Deschutes, or Bend's trails. All while still being 8 minutes from downtown Bend.

The space:
The main area has a huge vaulted ceiling and a full kitchen with stainless appliances and a gas range. The living area has a gas stove, TV with streaming services (no cable), and comfy furniture. There is one dedicated bedroom (Cali. King), and one bathroom (only shower). Additionally, the sunroom has a pull-down queen-sized murphy bed and can easily act as a second bedroom. There's also a great porch where you can relax after a day on the trails or at the river.

Very clean. Bathroom was nice with a good shower. Beds were comfortable. We loved having the AC. Easy to access a trail for bike riding, running, and walking. We would stay again.The property is located close to a busy road.

Charming place with great access to Bend and Bachelor

Great location. Place is well appointed with nice kitchen and space to cook. Master bedroom was comfortable. Bonus room was not used but has murphy bed and lots of space. Overall a great location for Bachelor and Bend activities.

Century Chalet

Property was clean, and the space is well designed with everything you’d need. AC units worked great during a hot august stay. It shares a driveway with the owners main house, which isn’t an issue as you park your car just down below. The location is pretty central, not great for walking as it’s off a main busy street. Didn’t receive check in instructions until I reached out to the owners, but I know they are newer to using VRBO as am I. Overall a great stay and would recommend to anyone.

Great location. The air conditioning is impossible to control. I could not sleep in the room without an A/C unit because it was 73F all night regardless of what the main unit is set to. The main unit is uncontrollable. I followed the instructions and nothing happened. Luckily the second bedroom had A/C that was set properly. Studies and experience show sleeping at 68F or less provides better sleep. Both beds have thin hard mattresses. My husband was very unhappy with the mattresses and slept poorly both nights.

Great spot for a Bend weekend

My daughters and I stayed here for two nights. It was close to everything, very clean and pretty. The owner was responsive with check in information and the process was easy. The house is on the same property as the owner’s home - within ten feet and a shared driveway. This was not a problem at all and didn’t negatively affect our stay but wasn’t evident to me in the listing or pictures. Again - not an issue at all for our stay but if you are looking for something more secluded or private, that might be good to know. We would definitely book again on a future trip to Bend.
