Cozy Home Centrally Located in LA's South Bay area

We are Steve Butterfield and Linda Braue and we welcome you to our home in Torrance, CA. It’s an easy walk to Old Town where you’ll find us enjoying a great meal at one of the many restaurants located here or walking to Wilson Park on a Tuesday or Saturday morning for the fabulous Farmer’s Market.

We both love to be outdoors and Torrance is close to some of the best beaches in southern California, as well as amazing hikes in neighborhoods or mountains close by.

We relish sports and take advantage of all that southern California offers with football, soccer, basketball and baseball all within close distance to us. And you will also find us at some of the best museums in the world or taking delight in a concert at the Hollywood Bowl. We grab a bus from Wilson Park for the trip to the Hollywood Bowl, so we don’t have to worry about driving or parking.

We welcome you to take advantage of all that Torrance has to offer and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Our house is a 5 minute walk from downtown Old Town Torrance. It is a quiet neighborhood, with shady streets and lots of free on-street parking in front of the house.

Our 1400 sqft home has a spacious and well-equipped kitchen, dining room, living room, and 3 bedrooms.

You'll be able to relax in the living room watching the 46" smart TV.

The master bedroom has a king bed, its own smart TV and a private full bath. The other 2 bedrooms share a full bath. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and its own smart TV.

There is a double bed and a dedicated workspace with a color laser printer in the 3rd bedroom.

The dining/living room and each of the 3 bedrooms have their own 'mini-split' AC/heating units. This allows each room to set an individually comfortable temperature.

We have very high speed internet and WiFi throughout the house.

A free washer and dryer are available for your use during your stay.

We are within walking distance to Old Town Torrance where you'll find fabulous restaurants and small businesses to suit your needs. Torrance is ranked among the Safest Cities in the US and you'll find your stay to be quiet and peaceful. It's close to local attractions and some of the best beaches in southern Cal.

The weather in southern California is mild throughout most of the year so you can enjoy the BBQ on the side patio.

A charming destination, Torrance’s historic downtown is populated with historic buildings – some fully restored to their former glory – featuring a variety of shopping, browsing, and eating locations for every taste.

Wilson Park is an 8 minute walk from the house. It is one of the largest parks in the South Bay. It has picnic areas, walking paths, batting cages, baseball fields and much, much more. Wilson park hosts the South Bay's largest farmer's market every Tuesday and Saturday morning.

Getting anywhere in So Cal from our centrally located house is as easy as it gets.

We are a few minutes walk from Old Town Torrance shops and restaurants.

The house is located 1.6 miles from the Del Amo Fashion Center, the 6th largest mall in America, which houses 100s of stores, restaurants and movie theaters.

The beach cities of Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach Redondo Beach are only 5 miles away.

We are minutes away from the 405, 91 and 110 freeways.

SoFi Stadium is 8 miles away where you can see the Rams and Chargers play or catch a concert.

Dodger Stadium is only a 19 mile drive, but a very inexpensive (usually free) and much quicker bus ride to the game can be obtained at the Harbor Gateway Transit Center 3 miles away from the house.

LAX is 9 miles from the house.

Downtown Los Angeles is 18 miles from the house.

Disneyland is 23 miles down the freeway.

There is a Park & Ride Metro facility 3 miles from the house. It's an easy bus ride to downtown LA.
