Cozy private apartment in the lower level of a charming family home. This 1 bedroom, 1 bath apartment is fully equipped with a private entrance and private outdoor space. Also includes an additional outdoor room with a fireplace for days when you want that outside feeling but it's too cold to be outside!

The apartment is clean and modern. The kitchen has everything you need with granite counter tops, 2 burners, and a convection/microwave/air fryer combo. The bedroom is a comfortable and relaxing space with black out curtains and a cozy down comforter for days you want to sleep in. The bathroom is modern and stylish with a shower, toilet, and vanity. Private washer and dryer in unit along with a/c and heat. All utilities included, including wifi. The TV has a Roku with Netflix, Prime Video, Disney + and many other channels. The apartment is on the lower level of a family home with 5 steps to the entrance. There is parking for one car.

Easy access to public transportation.
Only minutes away from golfing, kayaking, and countless trails.

Guests are able to self check in to entire private lower level with private patio and outdoor space.

Other things to note
Tappan is a historic town near to shops, restaurants, golf, and hiking and biking trails. Bordering Bergen County and only minutes from Nyack, Piermont, Sparkill, the Mario Cuomo bridge walking trail, art galleries, and more!

Another Great Stay!

Allison's place is always clean and welcoming, and she is very accommodating! The neighborhood is quiet and safe, and we love that it's within walking distance to the downtown Tappan area.

A spooktacular stay

Perfect spot for a weekend in Sleepy Holllow. Convenient and centrally located for for our needs. Well stocked, well maintained property. Off street parking was perfect.

Had a peaceful stay here for 2 nights. A lovely oasis, it has everything you could possibly need … and more! Quiet, clean, newly renovated, and gracious and helpful hosts. I’ll definitely stay here again when I come back to the area.

Way better than a hotel!

I was in NY for continuing education, and chose this property vs a hotel. It was the best decision! Clean, comfy, roomy, quiet!

Cute Apartment

This is a cute apartment. It was very clean and well equipped with pretty much anything you'd need for a short stay. It was an easy drive from here to get to Tarrytown/Sleepy Hollow as that is where we spent most of our time. Of note, there is an awesome little coffee shop nearby called Noble Cafe. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay for my 50th class reunion. Roomy and stocked very well. Easy access to all we needed. Large fridge. Enjoyed even with the rain. Look forward to another stay in a few years to visit if the property is still available!

Great place to stay!

My wife and I stayed at Allison and Steve’s place and it was a great, enjoyable stay. The apartment is very clean and modern. The bedroom is large and THE BED IS SO COMFORTABLE!! This was the perfect stay for my wife and I as we needed a get away for a few days. The location is conveniently near many stores and restaurants, and we were able to enjoy the farmer’s market in Piermont as well. We are excited to claim Allison’s place as our go-to for future plans to stay in the area. 10 out of 10!

A wonderful stay

I was grateful to have found this place as a respite for a busy wedding weekend. It was impeccably clean, comfortable, and quiet. And for me, the location was the best thing. The event I attended was at Old Tappan Manor in Old Tappan, New Jersey. I was only about five minutes away from the venue. Thanks so much for hosting me at this lovely location.

The apt. was like brand new and very private. Located in historic Tappan,NY there are many places to visit nearby. Steve helped me with info on buses to NYC, very easy 30 min trip. Overall it was a great experience and can't wait to visit again. Check out the '76 House tavern, its the oldest one in the US and only a mile away!

Nice apartment in basement of home

The property was very nice and clean. All amenities were available. Parking was adequate but it is on a tight street. Inwould not recomment bringing a big SUV or pickup. Communication with homeowner was very simple
