Maison de luxe dans un emplacement privilégié du centre-ville: vue sur les montagnes Rocheuses

Nous avons une belle maison à louer, à quelques minutes de CU et du centre-ville. C'est privé et calme, avec une vue incroyable sur la plage avant et Boulder. Il a un plan d'étage très ouvert, avec 2 chambres, un loft et même un beau lit de Bali sur le pont!

Il y a une collection d'art du monde entier, y compris des peintures du Brésil et de Cuba, des tapis et une armoire du Maroc. La cuisine est immense et haut de gamme, avec des appareils en acier inoxydable, un sol en travertin, des armoires en merisier et entièrement approvisionné. Magnifiquement meublé, avec des touches de bon goût comme des comptoirs en granit; garniture en noyer; une immense terrasse en séquoia et un bain à remous.

Le meilleur de tous est la vue. D'immenses baies vitrées et une immense terrasse ouvrent sur une vue de l'avant de Boulder à Lyon. Vers l'arrière, vous pouvez voir les célèbres Flatirons de Boulder. Le pont comprend un bain à remous, un grill, un abricotier et un lit king-size unique sculpté à la main de Bali. Il n'y a pas de meilleure vue ou emplacement à Boulder. Il n'y a ni voitures ni passants. La literie est de première classe - les meilleurs matelas, couettes en duvet d'oie et bons draps en coton. Les draps peuvent être ridés parce que nous tapissons à sec, mais ils sont respectueux de l'environnement! Le chauffage est à base d'eau chaude, pour une chaleur propre, saine et silencieuse. En été, nous avons un refroidissement par évaporation qui est efficace et sain.

Je vis habituellement ici, mais je suis souvent en dehors de la ville ou du pays. J'ai un éco-lodge en Afrique (entre autres) donc je suis souvent parti. La maison est entièrement autorisée par la ville de Boulder (RHL-0006481) et est zonée pour pas plus de 3 personnes non apparentées - elle est donc parfaite pour toute famille de taille, ou pour quelques couples. Je vis séparément en bas quand je suis en ville; il y a 4 chambres disponibles en bas qui peuvent être réservées en plus de cette annonce (100 $ / chambre avec salle de bain). Il y a une entrée séparée et privée en bas, et l'étage supérieur est complètement privé.

De plus, nous avons des vélos à emprunter et un nouveau Intense Tracer 275c à louer pour un petit supplément journalier (voir photo)!

Amazing views, location, and ammenities. Must be respectful of other tenants.

The home was amazing and we thank the hosts for their hospitality. The home has amazing views of the mountains and is close to local hiking trails that we explored daily. The rental is above other tenants that are extremely cool and friendly. The tenants say they can hear footsteps despite shoes being removed and anyone renting needs to be respectful and aware that the space is loud. The bed outside was covered with a tarp and had bugs and weather stains - not usable. Overall, great stay. Ideal for couples or chill vacations.

Thanks for the review- to clarify in regard to the bed, the temperature November 6-9 was a historic low - in sub freezing weather, we normally cover the mattress with a tarp, and because of the blizzard- snow, leaves, any surviving insects, may make there way there. It's more a summer bed ;-) Also, noise transference is minimal, but if guests decide to host a party (as these did), it's likely tenants below will not be happy (as they complained at 12:30am). We don't promote the house as a 'party house'. Tenants below don't use it as a party house. It's best for families, friends reunion, romantic getaway, etc.

Awesome views great location

First off the couch in the pictures has been replaced with a modern living room set. The hot tub has also been replaced with a hard side one. I was worried that we would be to loud but those people must have been out of control that had the police called on them. This is a very quite area of town even though it's close to the college. The house is well equipped with everything you'll need. Make sure you get up for a sunrise at least once while your there. The owner is real nice and helpful.

A great HomeAway overlooking Boulder scenery

The home was as advertised, providing great views, large living space and kitchen. The address was very conveniently located near the university, which was our main attraction for the weekend. As a caution to larger groups, since it is a older home (per owner) the water heater & pressure were noticeably low, which made our early starts with a large group a bit challenging. Also people living down stairs were vocal about floor noise, so we had to tip toe around. Aside from that highly recommended.

Thanks John for the positive review & recommendation- just to clarify a few points- 1/ The water pressure is on the low side, but hardly affects anything- I've never had anyone comment on it before. Perhaps we were watering the garden / others were using water at the same time. 2/ 'People living downstairs' were not vocal about the noise, at all- in fact I was the only person living downstairs, and I wasn't disturbed at all. I had sent a message to John and his guests, welcoming them to the house, and reminding them about a few 'house rules' - including where to park, and no shoes in the house. The no shoes policy is partly about the noise, and partly about wear and tear... Not meant to make you feel uncomfortable in any way- sorry it was interpreted in this way. Otherwise- thanks again for highly recommending our home- we hope to see you back!

Amazing place - location fantasic - people below ANNOYING

The views were amazing - the patio was wonderful. Hot tub was broken when we were there which would have been nice treat - but not such a big deal. Loved the house. Problem is the neighbors below here every step you make - so if you have any intention of doing anything after 9 pm probably not a good idea to stay here. We had about 14 people hanging out drinking some beers and grilling etc - and the neigbors called the cops!! We are all in our late 30's with our kids there - and the cop said when he showed up "This is the quietest party I've ever got called to." So if you are looking for a mellow place where you don't intend to make ANY noise after 9 - place is perfect.

Let me clarify that Alex; we were told by the renters below that there was a house full of drunk party goers who didn't let up until close to midnight. I appreciate the review and the 4 stars, and agree with you that the house is amazing, but if you plan to have a house full of party goers, late at night- either get our approval ahead of time, or this is not the place for you. We are fairly specific in our description- that this is a great place to chill, enjoy Boulder, have a luxurious stay in a peaceful location. Even though it would be a great party house, that's not how we intend it to be used. The renters below are quiet, respectful and a great group of young, professional women. Even though the house IS properly insulated for noise, and there is very little sign that there is even another apartment below, we ask that noise be kept to a minimum, particularly after 10pm. As you can tell from previous reviews, most guests have had an incredibly good stay, and we have people coming back year after year.

Double booked? Upon arrival, people were already occupying property

My family booked this property months in advance- we were flying in town to attend a wedding and needed a large place to stay. But when we arrived at our check-in time, there were other people at the house. The people said they booked the house for the same days as us. Property owner was not answering the phone and was out of the country- so our family was stuck on the side of the road, car packed with bags just trying to get anyone on the phone. Eventually VRBO call center was able to get us hotel rooms for the night, but we were on our own to find a place for the remaining 3 nights! The property manager Hillary eventually contacted us and tried to help our family find another property- but we ended up finding one on our own since we needed to make arrangements quickly. Luckily another family member covered the cost of the other rental (we were already down thousands of dollars for this original property!) Hillary felt bad, she was helpful and tried her best.. it sounds like the owner double booked the property? I am still waiting for a refund of over $3,000.. I appreciate everything Hillary did, but it was a very stressful situation, lots of angry family, and lots of phone calls. I am unsure how VRBO even allowed this to happen- we even contacted the owner the day before check-in, so this wasn’t a communication failure on our end. Overall, I would be very cautious booking this property.

Unfortunately Maggie double booked the property- it happens when dates are booked at the same time on different booking sites. She was immediately refunded her entire payment plus we covered hotel rooms for her entire family for a night.

gorgeous views in funky place!

Loved the place, especially the unique artwork and furniture pieces. Great big room with amazing views! Also beautiful and large kitchen. The one downside is just one small bathroom. Luckily, we only had 3 adults for one night. Would stay here again in the summer to enjoy the outside deck...but it was way too cold this time around! :)

Awesome place

I've stayed here twice, and will be back again. Great location, easy walk to Pearl St. Chautauqua Park and Settlers Park. Good access to trails. Comfortable home, with great views of the foothills. Greg is a terrific host.

We stayed here for two weeks and the accommodations were very comfortable. We stayed here for two weeks and the accommodations were very comfortable. There is only 1 small bathroom so that took a little coordinating. Also the third bedroom it is a loft that is accessed via a ladder which we were not aware of so it made it very difficult for our small kids so we ended up eliminating the usage of that third bedroom unfortunately. Otherwise the kitchen was fully stocked and everything was a very neatly organized which I appreciate. Also the hot tub and outdoor space was used often! We just loved this property so much.

Beautiful View and Spacious Living Area

Tucked at the end of a quiet street is a spacious triplex. We rented the top floor and one bedroom downstairs with its own bathroom. There is only one bathroom upstairs for three bedrooms, so factor that in. The common spaces, living, dining and kitchen are large with great light from the huge windows overlooking a great view. Greg, our host was attentive and checked in several times to make sure all was well.

Unparalleled Views

This was the perfect place for my family to gather and relax. The views are spectacular, and the bed on the deck was therapy for the soul. As long as guests are okay with sharing a small bathroom, this is an ideal getaway. It is located close to everything, but we were often reluctant to leave. Greg was very responsive to any questions we had.

The Most Beautiful Spot in Boulder

This beautifully equipped Boulder home with panoramic views of the Colorado mountain range cannot be beat. The house is cozy, classy, and peaceful, a retreat in itself, with a massive deck, exotic outside bed, and Jacuzzi, enjoying Boulder under the star filled night sky or gorgeous, breezy, sunny days. The large kitchen space can hold any number of cooks and is perfect for family or friend-filled dinners. We are grateful that we could call this house our home during our enriching Boulder/Naropa U experience this March. Thank you for such a rare, beautiful, and memorable Boulder stay.

Gorgeous view of the Boulder Valley and the Foothills

My husband, dogs, and I had a lovely time at this VRBO property in Boulder. The views were absolutely stunning from the living room, and the deck off the back of the rental was terrific - very spacious, and even though we didn't sleep outside, the added touch of the Indonesian-esque queen-sized bed surrounded by mosquito netting was a beautiful touch. Greg was a very responsive and helpful VRBO landlord/owner, and we were fortunate to have him available to us.

Incredible home

We visited Boulder to move my daughter into the University of Colorado. Greg's property is conveniently located and he provides bicycles for your use which we rode to campus. The property is private, secluded and quiet. The home itself is spacious and beautiful and has open floor plan with an incredible view from the family/dining room and outside deck. We hope to visit again next year.

Thank you, Greg, for making our stay memorable, even though the deck where the hot tub is located had some serious water leak issues. We were still allowed to use the space and the hot tub, which turned out to be a highlight of our stay. And the bottle of bubbly left on the dinning room table when we arrived was a welcome surprise, especially since we were celebrating a birthday as well! Hope all goes well with repairs. Exactly what you are looking for.

What can we say, the space and view are incredible. We were absolutely content sitting on the bed or in the hot tub looking out over Boulder under the stars or the sun. We would recommend to any of our friends and family. You won't be disappointed!

Great view, good location

This place has an amazing view of Boulder and the surrounding area. Found myself just staring out the huge window to see the sunrise over Boulder and the great view of red rocks. The location is good. It's an easy 15 minute walk into town, but you are up on a hill so it's a little harder walk back. The space overall is big with an open floor plan, but the bedrooms and bathroom are small. With only one bath it's not ideal for a larger group. As others have said, you do have folks living below you in the house. However, it was not a problem for us. There is also some construction going on next door, but it did not bother us. Overall a very nice place.
