Beautiful 6 bedroom Historic Park Victorian

Welcome to the Park Victorian, a rare piece of history in Auburn, CA. Enjoy your family and friends in this 19th century beautifully renovated Victorian farmhouse overlooking Old Town, the historic courthouse, and the Placer County foothills. We are nestled on a 6 acre, private plot of land with the most amazing views. You will feel like you are secluded from the world yet only steps away from fantastic dining and charming shopping. There are no other properties like this in Auburn!

There are 6 ensuite bedrooms that have been lovingly restored to their original elegance with refinished fir floors, marble vanities and unique features. Because each bedroom has its own bathroom and shower, you will get the perks of a hotel, but the charm and privacy of a private residence. The house has a remodeled kitchen, indoor and outdoor dining options (a large covered brick patio off the dining room and kitchen), and living room, so all your needs will be met. The large yard that overlooks Old Town is ready to entertain both during the day and at night with our event ready market lights.

We loved the proximity to the town fun to be able to walk to dinner! House is beautiful and well kept. The train goes by nearby and worried about noise but house very quiet. We will likely book again!

The home is beautiful and the kitchen is amazing. Beds are very comfortable and the en suite bathrooms were great. The trains running close by were a surprise but not very disruptive. We’d stay again.

Missi was an outstanding host and always in communication with us. She even answered questions and took our very last minute reservations later in the evening the night before we arrived. We were so glad we stayed here. It was a blessing. My daughter loved staying here surrounding her wedding. There is absolutely no other home that has such close access and views to historical downtown Auburn. It’s a 5 minute walk down the hill. This is a very charming and well kept Victorian with a bathroom in every bedroom. Feels like it was a B&B because all rooms had separate cards to lock the bedroom. The property is perfect for hosting large parties, events, and weddings. There were countless areas were beautiful pictures could be taken. The beds were extremely comfortable and each room had its own temperature control. Everything was well stocked and they left snacks and coffee. Very large refrigerator. Tankless water heaters meant all six of us could shower comfortably at the same time. Laundry is on site. Grounds were kept immaculate. Big thanks to Missi for helping us in a pinch!

We enjoyed our stay overall and appreciated the ease of check-in. The location is absolutely fantastic, so close to town! The surrounding property is gorgeous, and the rooms are lovely! We appreciated each room has it's own entry lock. The host was incredibly communicative, quick to respond, and very accommodating. The beds were beyond comfortable and a highlight of the stay-we all slept so well!Based on the photos, we were expecting a more minimal, bright, and open space. The home felt quite full, especially in the kitchen. We found little room for our own things in the kitchen, and it was hard to find space to store things we didn't need. We found ourselves trying to hide some of the excess and wishing there was a closet or storage area to tuck things away.The extra household items (baby gear, large serving pieces, and even an extra table and chairs) may be super appreciated for large groups however, it just felt like too much for our intimate group. The trash bags are scented, a small detail but worth noting for those sensitive to fragrance. We found a few minor things broken, which we’ve shared directly with the host, and it seemed the handyman was on it. While the home wasn’t the perfect fit for our needs, the care from the host and comfort of the beds made the experience so super pleasant overall. With a few updates to the listing photos to reflect the current setup, this could be a great fit for guests who prefer a beautiful, well-stocked space.

Perfect stay at the Park Victorian! 12 of us were in town for our sons wedding and needed a place to hang out and not be on top of each other while getting ready for the weekend festivities. The home fit our needs to a tee. The grounds are stunning and the location is terrific. Missi is a wonderful host and saved the weekend by bringing us a new coffee pot! We are so impressed with the home, amenities, and, area. Can't wait to return with our growing family to enjoy another fabulous stay!

Special, wonderful house - fantastic location

Excellent experience in this historic mansion with amazing grounds and views, walking distance from downtown. Missi was very responsive and accommodating.

House on the Hill

Perfect place for our Family to stay for our Brother's wedding. Enough bedrooms with great beds. Large kitchen for preparing breakfast & snacks for the Family. Well stocked with cooking utensils. Located up on the hill it has a great view of the town.

Wonderful Family wedding house

We had all 5 rooms full, there are not 6 normal size bedrooms. The best of the best. We had the bridesmaids at the house for makeup, and photo's. Beautiful yard and large enough for our bride and her crew to all sit around the tables and put their makeup on. I would highly recommend this for a big family.
