Charleston Home near Downtown & Folly Beach

FULLY REMODELED HOME IN 2023.

BRAND NEW AC UNIT INSTALLED IN 2021.

This is a cozy and comfortable brick ranch on James Island that is 10-15 minutes from Folly Beach and 10-15 minutes from Downtown Charleston. ($10 Uber ride). Spend time in this wonderful city in a place that feels like home. Includes full kitchen, washer and dryer, Wi-Fi, large screened in porch, board games and desk space.

This is an older home, built in 1972 that has been fully remodeled in 2023. It has a large kitchen and dining room area that is open to the living room as well. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and is filled with charm and has a cozy, homey feel to it that many guests have absolutely loved. A brand new AC unit was installed in February of 2021 to keep you cool on those hot summer days.

It has a large screened in porch (with two ceiling fans) where you can enjoy the summer breeze and have a nice dinner to wind down from a long day at the beach. It can get a bit dirty when it rains due to dirt splashing into the porch, but it is cleaned every time the house gets flipped after guests leave. It's a screened in porch in South Carolina so there will definitely be bugs.

The value of this home is incredible and the location is amazing. If you would like to enjoy a day on the beach and a night on the town with a group of friends or family, then this is the house for you!! Feel free to reach out with any questions you may have.

Great place to stay while visiting the Charleston area

We stayed at this property for a week after Christmas and found that it met all our needs. If you have a car the location on James Island is handy for visiting not only Charleston and Folly Beach, but really all the sites of interest in the area.

Bachelorette Stay!!!

We really enjoyed staying at this house. It was decorated super cute and you could tell it had recently been renovated. It was perfect for our group of 6 and was very clean!!

Our stay was amazing, they supplied everything we could need. The towels and beach chairs were just a cherry on top. The location was great for both visiting downtown and the beach. We loved it!!

Perfect Place

This host and home were pretty much perfect. The home is beautiful, had everything we needed and was a peaceful location that enabled us to spend time enjoying Charleston and Folly beach. We would 100% book this home again. Thanks to Amanda for all the efforts put into this home. We celebrated our daughter’s 16th birthday with a perfect vacation.

Fabulous Find

Amanda’s place is wonderful for many reasons. The location is prime, right in between downtown Charleston and Folly Beach. The neighborhood is peaceful and lovely. The house itself is clean, comfortable and very well renovated. The screened-in back porch is my favorite part! Amanda was responsive and we had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation.

Great place to stay in Charleston

We had an excellent stay in Amanda's property in Charleston. Well connected by car as only 20 min drive from downtown and 20 mins from Folly Beach. Home was beautifully decorated and comfortable. We loved the outdoors area where we relaxed with some beers in the evenings. Really convenient that beach equipment was available too. Amanda was a great host and very easy to contact. She also allowed us to have later check out due to a late flight from Charleston. Only minor complaint would be that a kettle would be great so we could make some tea!
