In the heart of downtown, this 19th century former carriage house has been completely restored with great attention to detail. It is walkable to everything but also on a quiet street. Stroll one block to Northampton's cafes and restaurants. Walk on the trails across the street, or rent an e-bike nearby and bike on the rail trail through farmland and small towns.

Comfortably enjoy a house with natural, unscented laundry, cleaning, and personal care products, and cotton bedding.

On the main floor, cook in the beautifully appointed kitchen, or enjoy the games and books provided.

Upstairs, bathe in a vintage clawfoot tub, or have a morning coffee on the small balcony perched among the trees.

Amenities include a washer and dryer, a yard with a dining table and grill, and a locked garage area where guests may store bikes.

Please read rental agreement before booking if coming with a canine companion. Dogs up to 35 lbs can be accommodated.

I highly recommend Debra’s home and she as host. She ensured we felt welcome and prioritized. The house is wonderful with a bright and clean kitchen - easy to cook in ( and we were there for Thanksgiving!) Comfortable family room and bedrooms. The location - walking distance to town - could not be beat.Loved it.

We stayed here to move our daughter into Smith, and it was a great property in a beautiful area. Debra was incredibly responsive and helpful and made a stressful time much easier.

Neat and comfortable

This is a clean and comfy rental within walking distance to town. Owner is very accessible and kind enough to offer later check-out. Be sure to visit the greenhouses at Smith College and walk along the river on campus. A great weekend getaway spot!

Lovely North Hampton carriage house

This is a newly renovated carriage home. Very clean and easily and accommodated our party of 6. It's within walking distance to the downtown North Hampton area which made it very convenient. The home has a lovely kitchen but not could be improved with more cookware and glassware. All the rooms have air conditioners which worked great and kept us comfortable. The bathroom is 1 full bath with a shower and tub and a second bath that's a half bath on first floor. The host provided us with a lot of nice details about the home and local spots to visit in the area. We'd be happy to stay here again.

I am originally from Montreal but I have lived in the U.S. for my entire adult life, including here for 24 years. I love to cook and eat locally grown food. I work in public health, and am committed to living an environmentally responsible life. I have restored and lived in many historic homes. I am an ultimate frisbee parent. I haven't used my French in years but am glad to give it a try. I love meeting people and creating a welcoming space for people to rest while travelling.

For people who love history, the opportunity to stay in a fully and lovingly restored mid 19th century carriage house is a treat! My property is impeccably clean, and does not carry any of the heavy laundry and cleaning scents that many rentals do.
