Important Notes About My Home

This is a clean, well-maintained 100-year-old home in historic Harpers Ferry, WV — not a brand-new, sealed hotel environment.

Due to its age and location, you may occasionally see a harmless spider or small insect. These are rare but possible and are clearly disclosed in advance.

This home allows pets, which means even after thorough cleaning, it’s possible a single hair from a previous guest’s pet may be found. This is normal in any pet-friendly property.

If you have severe arachnophobia or expect the home to be 100% free of any natural elements, this may not be the right property for you.

The house has historic windows and doors, so small drafts or signs of normal wear (such as caulking in kitchen ) are part of its character and not cleanliness issues.

We clean thoroughly between guests — however, this is a real home cleaned by humans, not a lab or showroom.

By booking, you acknowledge and accept these conditions. If you are looking for a sealed, insect-free, brand-new property, we recommend booking a modern hotel instead.

Would definitely stay again. Great location; about a quarter-mile to Rabbit Hole Restaurant and maybe another quarter-mile to the historic park. Very comfy furniture! We enjoyed sitting on the front porch. It's a very quiet area after dark. She had a couple of dog beds in the house which made our dogs extra comfy!

This place was great. Super easy to walk anywhere in Harper’s ferry. My perceived premium price was definitely worth the stay. The bed rooms were roomy and comfortable. The living space was spacious and comfortable. The back deck was amazing. I’m not the most responsive communicator, but everything was clearly stated and accurate. Zero fuss.Highly highly highly recommended. Will be the first property we check for our next trip to Harper’s Ferry.

We loved this property! It was a perfect distance to the shops and restaurants in Harper’s Ferry. The house is beautiful and comfortable and even had some perks for our dog.

This was a lovely home with a nice walk to the lower town area of Harper's Ferry. The house was very comfortable and provided a nice space to rest. If our dog enjoyed car rides it would have been a great place for him!

We stayed 2 nights at this lovely house. The house was amazing inside and an excellent value for the price. It was very clean, had good amenities, and was as advertised.
