Welcome to the River House on Tellico!

Our cabin is a two story house equipped for whatever kind of getaway you are looking for. From a quiet and romantic weekend to a family vacation, the River House is in the perfect spot as it sits right on the Little Missouri River. Like to kayak, float on a tube down a river, fish, swim, or cook? We have you covered! Our luxury kitchen has everything you need to cook and entertain adult guests while kids have a blast exploring by the river. In addition, the master bedroom is the only bedroom downstairs making the River House a great place for mom and dad to spend some quality time together while the kids wind down upstairs in the gaming/ movie room at the end of the day (bring your own gaming console to plug in).

Is the river not your speed? The River House is only a short 5 minute drive from Swaha Marina where family and friends can take a dip in Lake Greeson. The Dam Grill restaurant is also located there if you are not in the mood to cook!

The River House is also 13 minutes away from the famous Crater of Diamonds State Park which is the only place in the world the general public can search for real diamonds and keep what they find. A 2.38 carrot diamond was found just last year!

The best spot on the river.... and a house packed with amenities. AT&T mobile was poor. Wifi was good. Clean. Nice place. Hospitable owner.

The location of the property is ideal, just a 20-foot walk to the river, with stunning views and easy access. We loved the combination of privacy and convenience. Our trip was wonderfully relaxing. The river, hot tub, games, and porch made for the perfect setup. The space itself was great, with plenty of room and bedding for everyone.

Very spacious and comfortable home!! The pictures do not do this location justice...very beautiful property with easy access to the river! Check out the trout fishing regulations and be sure to bring your own equipment, this house sits right in front of a popular trout fishing location. One of our favorite activities was sitting on the back patio facing the river and watching the eagles in the morning doing a little fishing of their own!

This home was the perfect getaway for our family. It was immaculate and comfortable. I’ve never stayed in a Vrbo with such a well stocked kitchen before. The outside was set up for relaxation around the fire pit or hot tub and lots of fun games to play. The location was the perfect spot on the Little Missouri. We will hopefully be back to enjoy this place again!

The property was just as described! It had everything we needed. We went for COD, but we wanted to stay at the house the entire time. It had the hot tub that was too die for, games for kids, the creek, the view, and comfort! My family already wants to come back and stay in the exact same spot! Thank you so much to our host for the ingredients for s'mores, the kids ate all the marshmallows before we got to make them!

The house is MUST if you are considering staying near Murfreesboro. We LOVED the location as it was on the River and provided endless entertainment and amazing views. We did not use the hot tub, but it is definitely an added bonus for the house as the location is on the back porch overlooking the river. When we arrived, the house was spotless. It is well equipped with kitchen supplies (cooking utensils, grilling needs, spices, etc.). The beds were extremely comfortable. Not only did they provide smores for an unforgettable night, but they also have family friendly games to play. We were there for three nights/four day and it was still not enough time to explore and do it all. The host is amazing and very quick to respond! I would highly recommend checking out this house, the river, and go kayaking. You and your family will not regret it!

This cabin did not disappoint! Everything was as the pictures portrayed, accommodations were excellent, everything we needed was available, the host was quick to respond when we had questions, hot tub was perfect, view of the river and getting to spend time outdoors was the icing on the cake!

The house was clean and well stocked with everything needed to make our stay a very stress free and relaxing getaway. Our days were full of adventure;local shopping, diamond hunting and the house sits right by the river so we spent time there sifting rocks and were only a few miles from one of the many main swimming areas. Our very quiet nights were spent cooking, watching movies, playing games and spending good quality family time together. It was too hot to enjoy the hot tub but those full size tub and shower combos were amazing!!Staying here sure

Amazing

We absolutely loved our stay here at the cabin. The kitchen was so organized. I learnt to cook with gas appliance quickly. We tried putting everything up after use and cleaning. Check-in was very easy. Stores are 5 minutes up road walmart is about 30 minutes. It is a very peaceful place to stay.

Awesome setting

Very scenic property that had everything a family needed for spending time together. The host provided everything for s’mores at the fire pit. We loved the bathrooms with the large tub and shower combined. Would definitely recommend this property.

Beautiful and fun!

We stayed here for an overnight visit just after school let out and it was very relaxing, but the kids had plenty to do! The river is beautiful and hearing the water made it so peaceful! 10 our of 10 highly recommend!

Family Vaycay

This home had everything we needed. It was clean and decorated so cute. Perfect location to town, the Narrows Dam and the Crater of Diamonds. We fished, kayaked, looked for special rocks, made Smores, soaked in the hot tub, played Ring Toss and spent the evenings by the fire, all in one location. Every morning, we had coffee on the back patio, listening to the birds and watching the water rush over the rocks. My son in law said it was the best place he had ever stayed.

Spring Break 2025

This was the perfect spot for Spring Break. Loved listening to the Missouri River at the back of the property. So peaceful as the water rushed over the rocks. My boys like to fish and there was a boat launch to Lake Greeson 3 mins away and they also enjoyed fishing for trout on the Missouri River at the back of the house. So convenient. The whole house was more than adequately stocked and the owners thought of everything that could possibly be used. Beds were comfortable and the hot tub was awesome. We really enjoyed the close location to everything and the seclusion of it as well. We will definatly be back.

The cabin, amenities, and location was awesome, exceeding our expectations, and our party of 12 had a wonderful time on our annual family trip! The host was super responsive and helpful about a minor issue with the washing machine.
