Our oceanview condo is nestled within the gated community of Punta Playa Vistas, only a 1 hour drive from Liberia airport (LIR). Discover pristine hidden beaches only minutes away, or visit the well known beaches of Tamarindo, Conchal and Flamingo all within a 25 min drive. The space
Welcome to our little slice of heaven! Our condo is located 1km from the beach in Puerto Viejo, Cabo Velas, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. We are a short 1 hour drive from Liberia Airport (LIR) and 8-12 minutes from the local towns of Matapalo and Huacas which offer many conveniences; grocery stores, pharmacy, urgent care, fruit stand, ice-cream parlor, bakery, “sodas” (authentic costa rican restaurants) and more. We love our secluded yet convenient location, which helps us explore many beach towns. Just 25 minutes to the north are Playas Brasilito, Flamingo and Potrero and 25 minutes to the south is Playa Grande and the modern beach destination of Tamarindo with its endless shops, restaurants, surfing beach and nightlife.

Best of all, we are walking distance to some of the most beautiful beaches not only in Costa Rica, but in the world. Take turns between visiting the pristine Playa Minas where you will feel like you have discovered a new island all to yourself and the gorgeous sunsets of Playa Real, a one minute drive from the condo. Two minutes away you will discover Puerto Viejo, located at the south end of Playa Conchal. You can reach any one of these in a short 10-15 minute walk, or a few minutes drive.

The jewel of our property is the beautiful 250 sq ft balcony with 180 degree views of the ocean and jungle below. Enjoy the stunning sunsets over the water while having dinner or sipping on some drinks right from the comfort of your condo. It never gets old!

The day starts early in Costa Rica with an amazing sunrise right from the master bedroom window. It is a magical way to wake up. On the balcony, you will hear the birds chirping and howler monkeys waking up while you enjoy your morning coffee or tea. Make plans to visit the many beaches, hiking trails, zip-lining, waterfalls, tours to visit monkeys and sloths and many of the other attractions that are awaiting you close by. We would be happy to share our personal favorites in our House Manual.

Our property has a membership to the Costa Rica Sailing Club in Potrero, and we are happy to share with you the numerous discounts they offer us: for canoes, snorkeling gear, food, camps for kids and even to the Diamante Eco Adventure Park with its many activities. We have also secured discounts from Adobe car rentals for our guests, please inquire. It is important to mention that a 4x4 wheel drive vehicle is recommended to comfortably drive around the area, especially if you plan to visit during the rainy season. The roads to reach our condo are all paved except for the last 8-10 minutes, which is a maintained dirt road.

Our development Punta Playa Vista is a secure gated community, which can be accessed with a pass code once you pull up in your vehicle. Drive up and around the driveway to the back of the condo building. We have a very responsive Property Manager who will be happy to assist you if any questions or concerns.
