Great stay and within close proximity to just about everywhere we needed to go. The hosts were very helpful and kind when I had questions. Loved being able to sit outside and have coffee and walk in the evening as it’s a quiet street for the most part. Perfect size for our family and having a laundry was a huge help. Will definitely stay again when we visit.

This was our second stay at this property, and it was every bit as wonderful as the first. We stay at quite a few nice VRBO properties throughout the year, and this one easily wins the award for the cleanest! The home is extremely comfortable and welcoming. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you could possibly need, the beds are all very comfortable, and we especially enjoyed relaxing on the patio each evening. The location is also great, just minutes from Michigan Tech and downtown Houghton, making it incredibly convenient for us.With our son attending MTU, we expect to make plenty of trips to Houghton over the next few years, and this will absolutely be our first choice every time we visit. It truly feels like our home away from home in Houghton. Highly recommended!

I have a very social personality and love learning about diverse cultures. We travel yearly for work or pleasure, gaining firsthand experience of what people need when away from home. Thus, our guest house is people-oriented, not business-oriented. We are delighted to host you with an open heart and accommodate your needs, whether you're traveling through the UP or visiting your child at MTU.
