Cozy and Serene Two Bedroom Cottage on the Lake

Begin to unwind in this calm, stylish space with extra large picture windows. The cottage is located on Pleasant Hill Lake, and it is a perfect getaway. Enjoy a beautiful lake view and a campfire at night! Just a few minutes from Mohican State Park with great hikes, gorgeous scenery, wonderful photo opportunities, unique dining and local wineries. The space has 2 bedrooms each with a double bed and one full bath. The open floor plan includes the kitchen/dining/living area.

THE SPACE:
The cottage is located in a private boat club neighborhood. It’s generally quiet except for summer weekends. Most of the neighbors are long time owners who enjoy the quiet and privacy, but are very friendly. We are just a short drive to all of Mohican and Pleasant Hill. We’re about 10 minutes from Perrysville, 15 minutes from Loudonville, and 25 minutes from Mansfield.

GUEST ACCESS:
Guests can access ALL areas of the rental space. You’ll need a car to get around the area as there is no public transportation. In the winter, you MUST have a 4 wheel drive car/truck - in order to access the driveway. The road to the cabin is a small, gravel steep road. We are putting up reflector lights, and we can guide you in if needed. But the road is a challenge, especially late at night if you have never been there.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
The cabin has an electric fireplace on the wall. The Wi-Fi is a mobile hotspot that is available for guests. In the winter you MUST have an all-wheel drive vehicle to access the cabin.

Also be aware that because this cottage is part of a private boat club, the lake access belongs to the boat club and is unfortunately off limits to guests. Public access is available on the other side of the lake, or if you just want to walk to the shore you can follow the creek through the woods directly across from our cottage down to the shoreline, but there’s not a true path (this section of woods is public land). **PLEASE DO NOT WALK DOWN PAST OUR STEPS IN THE DIRECTION OF THE BOAT CLUB AREA. THAT AREA IS COMPLETELY OFF LIMITS TO NON OWNERS, AND YOU AND WE MAY BOTH GET IN TROUBLE. You may walk in the woods up the road you came in on, but not toward the open yard, docks, or other cottages in the neighborhood as these are all private roads. Sorry! We’ve had to emphasize this because of past guests breaking the rules, and us getting complaints from neighbors. Please help us be good neighbors.**
