10th Floor Condo with views of the Capital in the historic Kirkwood Hotel. You will enjoy being within walking distance to everything Des Moines has to offer! EASY access to Hy-Vee Hall, Wells Fargo Arena, Wellmark YMCA & more!

1 Parking Spot in covered ramp attached to condo building. Note: No Oversized Vehicles (e.g extended SUV's or Trucks)

The space:
Condo offers full Kitchen with eat in-Counter. 1 Bedroom w/ Full Bed & a Queen Murphy Bed in the living room to accommodate 4 people comfortably. Couch available for a 5th person. 2 bath, in unit Washer / Dryer. 2 Full Baths.

First, the location simply cannot be matched. We walked to a baseball game one evening, and on Saturday morning enjoyed the Farmer's Market which is right there. We enjoyed the views to the East, including the Capitol Building. The building is really fun and historic. Private off-street parking is such a great feature. The condo is very spacious and the amenities are what you'd expect in your own home. And communication with the property manager was quick and responsive. We will definitely consider this in the future!

Awesome place!

The pictures online do not do this gem justice. It’s a good sized place, clean, very well equipped, and the access to downtown Des Moines is the best part! We loved the views from the tall windows. The fact that is a corner unit made it even better. I can’t say enough good things about it! Host was also so fast to get respond when we had a question.

Charming & central

A lovely place in a lively neighborhood! The condo is clean and spacious with great views of the city. Everything is so thoughtfully designed and well-stocked. A wonderful visit and a gracious host!

Adorable place!

This is an adorable place, comfortable, well stocked, and an awesome location. Because it is located in the old Kirkwood hotel, it is a bit unique walking into an empty lobby to find the lockbox where the keys are located. You certainly need to empty your car into this cute location before you park it in the garage. The garage is located behind/to the side of the building, you open the garage door with the opener, and directly drive up a very steep ramp, then, leaving the second-floor parking space, you may either walk down the ramp, or walk down a very steep circular staircase. Now that we’ve got the check in process, and the parking figured out, we would definitely stay again. Great location, wonderful, hostess, to work with, and an adorable place.

Girls Weekend/Balloon Festival

The property was beautiful! Clean, comfy, well stocked with all the things you would need! Jennifer was great to help with any questions! The parking garage is interesting, but it is so helpful to have a spot with parking being limited downtown! Walking distance to many attractions and places to eat! We had a wonderful weekend! Definitely would book again if in the area! Already recommended it to others!

Awesome Downtown Location

This was a great place for our family to stay while attending a 3 day swim meet at the downtown YMCA. So conveniently located in the Skywalk and close to restaurants and Hy-Vee & with an included parking space. Hosts were generous with early check-in and late check out. The unit was beautifully furnished & spacious & comfortable. Really a great place and we'd definitely stay there again!
