Everything was simple. The home was clean and everything was straightforward. We're definitely returning to this location when we visit Des Moines again. It felt like we were in the middle of everything and nothing that we wanted or needed to do was more than 30 minutes away. The only thing that might be of concern to some is the off-street parking. There are, however, plenty of spots and we never had to go more than 140 ft from the front door to find parking. All things considered, I'd highly recommend this location.

Property was clean and well maintained. The only issue was the lack of driveway. Not a huge deal but I didn’t really like parking my car on the street infront of the property. It would have been nice to know that going into the rental.

Unbeatable.

This property is fantastic. It is very updated, with all the amenities you'd hope to have. The location is literally steps away from the Drake University campus and the Drake Diner. The furnishings and beds are super comfortable and convenient. And the manager was very accommodating and responsive to our needs! I seriously doubt you can find a better option!

Stayed here for a wedding

Very clean and comfortable home located in a great area of Des Moines. Plenty of room for the 4 of us! Kitchen was perfectly stocked! Loved the front porch!! Parking on the street was never a problem. Walked to Black Cat Ice Cream & Drake’s Diner. So good!! Property manager was super accommodating! If we visit the area again, we would love to stay here again!

VRBO Victory!

This house is spotless and beautifully decorated! Every room has been fully redone and updated. The neighborhood is quiet with ample street parking right outside the house. Great communication with the owner. I highly recommend and hope the house is available the next time we're in town

We really enjoyed our stay! The house is located within 5-15 minutes to everything including the downtown farmers market and nightlife. Ubers were easy to get as well. The home was updated and clean. Worked perfectly for our group of 4 couples!

Family stayed two nights for Des Moines wedding. Enjoyed house and sitting on front porch. Neighborhood is full of college housing but things seem to be getting rehabbed all around.

Clean and comfortable house in a great location

The house looked nicer than the photos. We appreciated the comfortable furniture and nice bedding and towels. This house had lots of the little touches that other rentals skimp on, like k-cups for the coffee maker, enough dishes and towels, soap and shampoo, etc. Everything was spotless, fresh, and clean. My parents have difficulty walking and the house layout worked out well for them since there is a bedroom and full bathroom on the main floor. We were able to park close to the house and there are only a few steps outside they needed to navigate. I had screwed up on my reservation and the owner was very kind and accommodating about it. (Thank you again!) Would definitely stay here again and recommend if you have a family or group visiting Drake.

This property is in a prime location. close to drake and all the down town excitement. Centrally located and easy to get anywhere. The property has been completely re-done (Down to the studs). And it was re-done well!
