We can't wait to welcome you to South Swell! We are a short walk to the oceanfront where you can get your daily dose of Vitamin D! NEWLY RENOVATED! Featuring three balconies and a pool deck for plenty of outdoor space to enjoy! Grab your sandwich from Waves and enjoy it on the picnic table, or cook on the grill. Rinse off in our outdoor shower, and experience the peace this home offers! The main deck also offers spectacular views of the stars in the night sky!

Guests have access to the entire house and pool area.

Our neighborhood is right off 12, we are at the end of a cul de sac, and just a few houses from the beach access. The beach here is not crowded, it's quite spacious and beautiful!

You will want to have a car, we are about 20 minutes to major grocery, but have some excellent restaurants and shops in our general area that are walking distance as well.

Last min trip

Was a last min trip and needed a place less than a day. Booking was quick and easy, host sent out instructions, directions, and house rules along with code for lock box in message which made easy. Not a deal breaker but place could use a microwave, other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Amazing home

Our family had an amazing time! The pool was great, the home was precious, the porches were peaceful, and the walk to the beach was serene. The neighborhood is quite and close to everything in town.

This property was just right for our family of 4 and a friend. We love the beach aesthetic and the location was great too!

Responsive property owner and nice private pool. We may be picky but likely won’t stay here again.

Pros: responsive property owner and nice private pool. Nice balconies. Kitchen is moderately well equipped. Cons: house and pool were not clean upon arrival and there were large bugs in bathroom and kitchen seen throughout the week (they did refund cleaning fee and a pool maintenance person came out on first day to clean pool and mid week to treat the bugs) but for the nightly rental price we should not have had to deal with that. The town is rather run down and things like indoor golf and arcade are shut down. Dining options are extremely limited. Not easy to carry furniture to beach from this location and do not recommend renting cabana and chairs as it is too awkward to transport them (there is no set up service on this part of the obx) we ended up leaving the cabana and chairs under house and not taking them due to the overgrown path to beach and sand dunes. It’s a decent walk to the beach still especially with gear.

Disappointed

Busted outside furniture with sharp edges. Weeds growing through pool patio. Upstairs bath dark with broken light fixtures. Other lights in house not working. Under house cluttered and trashy. No microwave.. palm tree growing over deck railing at height of young children’s eyes.

Short getaway

Our family of 5 visited the OBX for 2 nights.The house was what I expected from the listing. Well decorated in coastal themes. The host was very responsive to my questions and suggestions. Just a short walk to the beach. Would definitely stay again.
