Just steps from a very quiet beach, this cute bungalow will soon be your family's favorite!! With 2 bedrooms on the main level and another bedroom/living space with attached full bathroom on the ground level, there is more than enough room for your family! That said, you'll want to spend most of your time out on this gorgeous deck, overlooking the beach, or in the backyard around the fire pit! Please note that the downstairs bedroom and bathroom have a separate entrance providing privacy and independence for those who desire it.

Nice beach, the cottage is located at the end of the street. Easy to access beach. Great for families with kids/teens. The kitchen has all you need.

Our favorite stay yet!

We visit Jamaica Beach every summer and this stay was our favorite thus far. The house was perfect for our needs and very close to the beach. Our teenagers had their own space downstairs and they loved that. We enjoyed the porch very much as well. The beach area is less crowded here and no vehicles can drive on it, so safer for kiddos running around. We hope to stay here again next summer!

Cute, coy & well stocked

The house was cutely decorated and designed with lots of little touches already taken care of: beach toys, chairs, wagon, boogie boards, grill with grill tools, and a few staples, even available in the bathroom and kitchen.

We had a wonderful stay as a family of 5 at this property. The location to the beach was perfect. Very short walk to the beach and great views from the deck. The property is quiet and the store located behind the house is a fun addition to grab some snacks or souvenirs. Very clean and well supplied with kitchen essentials. Super cutely decorated. :)

Very nice property

Definitely one of the better places we have stayed. Everything was in good condition and decent quality.The owners haven’t cut back on anything including beach towels, which we took with us. The room with the bunks is downstairs and separate. This was our only minor problem as we had a toddler sleeping in there so we had to sit outside downstairs when he went to bed. I would stay here again.

Weekend Getaway

Our stay at Casa de Playa was wonderful! The house is lovely and in a great location and easy access to the beach! It offers excellent ocean views from the deck! We have stayed at quite a few VRBO’s and I’ll have to say this was by far one of the cleanest places we’ve stayed which is very important to me. We ate most meals at the house and had everything needed to cook. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again in the future.

Nice quiet vaction rental

We loved our stay here. Perfect for our family of 4 and 2 dogs. Loved the porch looking out at the ocean and had several nice walks along the beach. Beds were all comfy and the air conditioners were awesome and were separate from each room. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect beach house for adults and teens

One of the reasons I chose this house was because of the separate ground level bedroom. This is the room where my 15 year old son and his 2 friends slept and it was perfect. They were able to stay up late watching tv and my husband and I had the upstairs to ourselves where it was quiet and relaxing. The house was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed in the kitchen. I would definitely recommend this house for a Galveston vacation, especially if you have kids and everyone wants their own space.

Yearly Galveston trip

We came right after hurricane Beryl hit but you would have never known in this cottage. Everything was as it was described and they had every amenity from waffle maker to air fryer. We had a simple issue with a remote not working and they were quick to help. The location to the beach was great. We stayed for a week and had a great time. The local grocery store is also right behind the house if you need anything! 5 đŸ€©â­â­â­â­â­

Nice home and great location.

Very close to the beach and a short walk to the small neighborhood grocery store. Our teens enjoyed having their own space downstairs in the evenings. We hope to stay there again!

Great Family vacation

We really enjoyed our stay and were surprised at the lovely welcoming card and snack bowl, our children really enjoyed that. We loved the easy access to the beach and convenience of the small grocery store right behind the house. I was also greatful for the abundance of towels and beach towels since we are a family of 7. Great location and plenty of room for our larger family.

Jamaica Beach House

We had a great time! Close to the beach and fantastic breeze on the deck. The mosquitoes were awful but that’s to be expected with all the rain and tall grass in doons. We would definitely go back. Thanks for having us!

Charming Cozy Cottage

What a charming cottage on the beach! Super clean and tastefully decorated. The location was excellent. While it was one row off the beach, the beach access was right there and it still had a great view. Can’t beat the grocery store right behind the place. It literally had everything you would need for the week. While the weather wasn’t all sunshine, that didn’t dampen our stay. Definitely worth every penny we paid.
