Lovely view

Property was well kept and very relaxing (even with kids). Even though it is somewhat remote the kids had a great time with the ample activities provided and even asked if we could stay another night. Lovely experience and great location to northern Virginia.

A wedding weekend at Blue Mountain Lodge

The yurt is absolutely beautiful! Everything was perfect and spotless!! The views are stunning!!! And the amenities were exactly as described and even better!! Thank you for a perfect wedding weekend! We were sad to leave!

This rental was great! We felt like it could have been cleaner, there were several stink bugs and it was dusty. The pool table is so crooked and leans to the side so it’s not worth playing on. We loved all the different games and played several. It feels very secluded and private. We loved reading all the yurt instructions and very much enjoyed spending our time there!

Beautiful relaxing escape

This property is gorgeous! Lovely views, deck, hot tub, open spacious living area, great wood stove. Very well stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Make sure to read the fine print-the third king bedroom doesn’t have walls, just a moveable screen. Not an issue for our group but could be for some. Also the coffee is espresso shot pods, so bring your own coffee pot if that isn’t your thing b

Beautiful Property

This property was beautiful. It had lots of things to do such as the pool table, family games to play, archery, the hot tub etc. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they were fully stocked with great tea options, coffee and s'more kits. Those were all a definite bonus touch that I love. The Yurk it self is beautiful. We used the grill which was great. We used the hot tube/whirlpool which was also great. It was only an 1.5 hour drive from where we live. The only things I could find that was not satisfactory was the fridge looks like it had some black dog hair in a few spots. The dishwasher needs repair. And they can def stand to put a couch that is comfortable in replace of the tan couch. That couch where the TV is, is not comfortable at all and I needed to sink into a couch and relax so bad. Also provide more space to access the half bathroom. The couch is in the way. This property def has done an excellent job providing a nice quiet get away. I love the metal wine glasses too! All in all I give this property a strong 4 stars and would most def go back. My family really enjoyed it.

Thank you for taking the time to be this specific. The fridge should have been spotless and the dishwasher working, and we're sorry about both. The couch and the squeeze to the half bath are good points too. Glad the tea, the s'mores kits and the hot tub were bright spots.

The property is good just a few little things we noticed.No bluetooth speakers as advertised in the hot tub. Decking boards have some gaps between them (1/2 to 3/4 inch in spots)Interior flooring in spots is chipped on corners and some edges are raised.Rear bedroom missing one blind.Both beds are quite low in height.Occasionally we noticed a strange popping/creaking sound which seemed to be coming from the roof, not sure what it was. Great location secluded, some minor updates and it could be a great property.
