We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only detractor was it being super hot in the Master bed room with no ceiling fan and no light. Despite the AC running it remained hot. The ceiling fan was inoperable but the owner did send someone to try and resolve but unfortunate could not located the remote for the fan. The overall stay and layout of the Condo was amazing along with location. I would highly recommend it also visiting in the off season was a great choice. Incredible weather and views.

We have family in Pensacola and visit a couple times a year. We have stayed in many places but this has been our favorite. This condo is beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable, afordable and conveniently located. We will definitely stay here again.

Perfect beach getaway!

We loved our time at this condo. An incredible view of the water and a short walk to the beach. Very well stocked with all the basics needed for a beach getaway! On our final night we even got to see the Navy Blue Angels fly right past our balcony in formation! Amazing!

The unit had more than we could have asked for as far as kitchen and laundry facilities and had a beautiful living area and master bedroom overlooking the water. The check-in process was very easy and the key pad made it very easy to access the unit frequently. The kids loved the pool area and we always had enough chairs to use while there. The beach equipment was available on the first level locker but it wasn't sufficient so we ended up renting umbrellas from the vendor listed with the condo which really helped. The beach was across the street from the condo so it was a short walk to get there and we had purchased a wagon that helped get our stuff there. The water at this time of year (July) was very warm and enjoyable. And the waves were just enough for the kids to handle. ( We did have the tropical storm here for our first 2 days and the water was very rough but subsided). There are many restaurants in the area as well as shopping-Publix and Walmart just 2-3 miles away which really helped with having little ones with us. I only had to contact the host company once and they did respond by the next day but my husband and I were able to fix the minor problem ourselves. We really enjoyed staying at the condo and hopefully will be back againl.

The property itself was great but they were doing work on the outside of the building starting early in the am; painting, pressure washing (except Sunday) and that got pretty noisy. I wish it had been advertised while we made the reservation.

A great week at the beach

Even though it’s across the street from the beach, you can hear the ocean from the balcony at night and it’s at the’ quieter’ end of the island, but still close to everything, including a convenience store right next door and a trolley stop (free) right outside. To get to the beach, just exit the pedestrian gate and cross the road, or we would drive across the street with all of our gear and people who didn’t want to stay the whole day could walk back home. The condo was sparkling clean, beautifully decorated, and easy to access right off the elevator (but also super quiet). It has everything we could possibly need for our stay including towels, and tons of kitchenware.It was pricey, but worth it if you can afford it. My only wish was that the balcony had a chaise lounge or comfy chair for lounging with a book in addition to the tall half tables/bar chairs. They are great for eating and visiting, but not quite as comfortable to curl up with a book. I would definitely stay here again.

Family Vacation

The actual condo was everything pictured and more. Fully stocked kitchen, very clean and homey. Loved everything. Only recommendation would be a new garbage can in the kitchen. However, this was our 4th stay at the Emerald Dolphin. I’m happy to see the building being upgraded, however it was dirty and inconvenient. The pool was disgusting and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in 2 weeks. The maintenance crew was painting condo doors and wanted to get ours painted. We turned them away as it took 3 hours to paint another family members door in the condo and the crew kept the door open wide for 3+ hours.
