The VRBO was exactly what we needed for our long weekend visiting Boston! It was more spacious than expected and we were provided everything we needed. There was an issue with the kitchen sink handle and our hosts coordinated immediately to fix it while we were out enjoying the city. I would definitely recommend renting a car if you stay here over relying on public transit/rideshare apps if you plan to spend most of your time in Boston, but Everett is a nice, quiet town with a lot of delicious food to choose from within the city limits. I would definitely recommend this stay to others!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Magnolia House! The house had everything we needed, was clean and centrally located to everything we had planned on our trip. Most importantly, the entire family talked about how well they slept and how comfortable the beds were. We will definitely stay there again if we come back to Boston!

Overall nice clean place about 45 minutes on average from Downtown and Cambridge. Decent beds, neighborhood, good parking. Enough room for 6 adults to sleep comfortably. Downstairs nicely furnished for comfortable dinners and hanging out. Drawbacks: second bathroom tiny and in basement, no upstairs bathroom. Light switch set up is quite unpractical.

Great stay in Everett. The snow was melting and the basement flooded two days and the owners came to clean up both days. The men in our party were 6’4” so they ended up with many head bruises from navigating low ceilings in both stairwells.

Were visiting family in the area with 5 people. This property was exactly as the pictures represent inside. Very clean, cute, updated interior. Loved the homey touches the host provided and the whole experience was seamless, convenient and comfortable.

Lovely Malden home

We had a really nice stay here. The house is lovely and has many nice amenities. I loved the outdoor space which we used every morning. Also location is great and in a nice neighborhood The owner was easy to contact and quick to respond. We hope to rent here again

Summer visit to Boston and Salem

We had a great stay in Everett! We chose this location because it gave us easy access to both Boston (via a short drive to the T station) and Salem (by car) and accommodated our family of four plus two grandparents. It was as described in the listing and Linda and Glendon were communicative and responsive. Check in was super easy and it was by far the most well-stocked VRBO I have ever stayed in with everything we could have needed from extra blankets to kitchen supplies and cookware to laundry detergent and dryer sheets. Would definitely stay again!

The house was clean and attractive, easy parking. Everett is off the beaten path but close to our local family. Hosts attentive and good communicators. When I let them know the house was running low on toilet paper, they placed an Amazon order for more, delivered next day.

Amazing Stay

Our family had a delightful stay at Linda's place. The accommodation had everything we needed, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep each night. The peaceful neighborhood offered beautiful parks for leisurely walks. Flooded basement

We enjoyed the stay. Except when it rained all night, the basement flooded. It would have been nice to know beforehand. The agents were good to work with. And the house was close to the places we wanted to visit.

Cute and clean

The property was very charming, very clean and comfortable beds. Had a lovely little outdoor space and the driveway was a bonus as the neighborhood is typical Boston area and very packed with vehicles. Only a couple minor ‘would be nice’ is if the downstairs bedroom had a dresser or vanity and there was no toaster, which may be a hazard issue… but no deal breakers by any means.

Summer vacation

The house was perfect. Plenty of towels and extra bedding. Check in was a breeze. Everything is labeled in the house and there is no confusion as to what light switch does what or what’s in each cabinet and closet. If we come back for vacation we definitely will stay again.

Wonderful Stay!

My two sisters and I and a few of our family stayed three nights here. Linda and Glendon couldn’t have been nicer, more thoughtful,caring hosts. The home is clean and bright with up to date decor and accessories. Everything is labeled and organized so anything you need is readily available. The space is perfect for a small get together- both inside and out. We left with great memories and will book again when we are in the area.

Calm and minimalistic 2 story house

The house fit the bill with a spacious living area, well equipped kitchen, dining room, cute downstairs bathroom and efficient a/c! Upstairs has 3 large bedrooms with closets and a full bathroom. My only negative comment would be the Ring alarm sensors are everywhere made me question the neighborhood but are also oddly on the fridge and freezer doors too.

Thank you for staying with us and we appreciate your feedback = ). We have the Ring alarm system because we want to make guests feel safe and to ensure the safety of the house in general. The alarm is turned off during a guest stay and will be turned on after guest check-out. Most of these were actually installed when we previously lived there. The ones on the refrigerator and freezer doors are there to reduce energy waste as it will alert us should the doors accidentally be left open after guest check-out.
