Summary:
Blue Crab Hideaway offers breathtaking ocean views in back and is just step from the nearest restaurants and tiki bar. Conveniently located just a few blocks from the Boardwalk and the marina! Beautifully decorated yet cozy and comfortable! Enjoy coffee on your back porch while catching the sunrise or take a dip in the pool. Close to all things Carolina Beach biking, kayaking, fishing charters, hiking at the CB State Park.

The Space:
You wont find a better beach front condo on Carolina Beach than Blue Crab Hideaway. With amenities such as an indoor and outdoor pool, recreation room, arcade and more. This unit is on the 6th floor and there is an elevator.

Other Things to Note:
We also supply the following for each property:
A starter kit of one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, a trash bag, and dish soap. We also supply laundered bed linens, comforters, and 1 bathing towel and wash cloth per person. We do not supply any beach gear or beach towel. We have great rental companies on the island we would be more than happy to share the info with you. We also do not supply laundry detergent, body soap or shampoo/conditioner as we find everyone has their own preferences for these =) Please review our house rules prior to your stay

There is a Beach re-nourishment done in Carolina and Kure beach every 3 years. This helps to keep our beaches safe from erosion. Please note that we have no control over this project and that it is normally concluded by May, but there is a possibility of delays.

Vacation

It was overall a okay stay when we got their it was really clean and was accurate for the most of all and the view was wonderful to wake up every morning and see the ocean. There were a few down sides like mold on the door handles on the outside of the door and the bed was so uncomfortable and not enough pillows. Unfortunately the bed was so uncomfortable that it was part of the reason we left a day earlier than what we were suppose to. The finale straw of us leaving the day earlier was at 10-10:30pm the fire alarm went off and the fire department showed up. We left a day earlier and ended up loosing our money for our Tuesday night stay. Furthermore, the outdoor pool that we got into had so much chlorine in it that even after showering we could still smell it on our hands. My fiancé ended up burning his eyes from the amount of chlorine in the pool but he is fine now with some eye drops. Overall, it was an okay stay but for the most part it was very accurate except a few things. The manager was very quick at responding to our messages when we had questions.

Had a wonderful time. Location is great. Right on the beach and wonderful views from the balcony. Walked on the neach most mornings. I wolud suggest blinds for the master bedroom.. light from outside needs to be blocked... and a kuerig....we had an awesome time...

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Much attention was given to the space, even down to the smallest details. It was perfect for my husband and I, but could have easily accommodated a family with children. The ocean views were spectacular,and watching the sun rise from the ample size balcony was breathtaking. I could tell that the owners really take pride in their space, and I would absolutely book this property again. The only drawbacks during our stay is that the property was listed as having two bathrooms but only had one and the pull out bed was not very comfortable(laying that close to the ocean, hearing the waves and feeling the breeze makes up for it).
