Situated directly on the canal, you'll have easy access to the boardwalk where you can take evening strolls along the marina and sound while enjoying spectacular sunsets. As the name implies, Reel Fun is the perfect choice for boating and fishing enthusiasts. Use the nearby public ramp and dock your vessel right behind the house in the 32' private boat slip with power and water supply dockside.

The Pirates Cove community offers a variety of amenities, including an outdoor pool, fitness center, tennis, and volleyball court. The onsite restaurant Blue Water Grill & Raw Bar overlooks the marina and provides lunch, dinner, and a full-service bar with indoor and outdoor seating. Located right across the Washington Baum Bridge, you'll be just a short drive from the public beach accesses in Nags Head and historic Downtown Manteo.

The home was amazing!! It was clean and the rooms were big enough to accommodate all 7 of us! Goldie was very easy to get in contact with and was able to answer all questions I may have had! We will definitely stay again!

We were here for an adults only trip for a wedding and this house was perfect. The host was so sweet and helped up upon arrival. The house was so well kept and had everything we needed. Not to mention the sound front and walkway was an added bonus.

Thank God we purchased the insurance because the owner committed fraud by lying and filing a claim saying that we damaged her home. We cleaned and did a walk-through before we checked out at 9:30am. When I asked the owner to send me pictures of the claimed damage she refused. I told her that it felt like she was scamming the insurance and she stopped communicating. The home was beautiful but she never checked us in with the front gate which meant that we had to resubmit all of the information and paperwork again to the security office. She also advertised a golf cart but when we called her (several calls because things were not as advertised), she said "The golf cart is not available with no reason why". We had to call her because the door code was incorrect in her emails, the internet access was not initially provided, and the front door does not close unless you lock it, which is impossible to do when you are checking out and leaving the property unless you have a key. I would definitely stay in that community again but never with this owner.

Weekend GetWay

We absolutely loved this house. It’s the perfect proximity to the pool, Blue Water Grill and docks! We loved the spacious porches to watch the summer sun set. Owner was very responsive and easy to work with. We will rent again! We highly recommend this house.

Beach getaway

We had a great stay here! We enjoyed the golf cart rides, the pool/restaurant amenities, the place in general. It was very clean and up to date. We loved sitting on the porch to enjoy the view. Short drive to the beach and close to old downtown Manteo. Lots of things to do in the area! Goldie was absolutely amazing and so responsive to all our needs! Thank you!

Great stay for a birthday!!

We really enjoyed the location (about 15 minutes from the beach), quiet community, beautiful homes, boats, sunrises, and friendly neighbors. The community pool and park were ideal for the younger kids. The home was very well kept and had all of the supplies we needed. Of course we brought our own toiletries, paper towels, and things like that. The price was great and certainly affordable. The owner stayed in contact with me and was easy to reach. I do believe we will rent again.

Yearly Family Meetup

Every year, we travel from Chicago to North Carolina to meet family at the beach. My wife and I are originally from NC. The property was perfect for us, with bedrooms for our family of four and the grandparents, plus three full bathrooms to make mornings smooth. The property was well maintained, and the photos were accurate. Although it was winter and we didn't catch any fish, we did see them swimming around.The location is great for downtown Manteo and Nags Head. Kitty Hawk and Duck take a bit longer to reach, but it wasn’t an issue.This property is definitely on our list for future stays.

Outstanding View!

We visited this property for our 40th anniversary trip. The house was beautiful. Loved the decor and high end finishes. The views from the decks were gorgeous! Seeing the canal filled with boats and the sound in the distance was so relaxing. We have stayed in the Outer Banks many times since the 80’s , this was the most perfect house yet! Everything was well thought out and convenient. Pirate’s Cove is an amazing location and this house had everything we hoped for! Thank you Gloria! You are so friendly and responsive during our stay!

When we arrived, the beds were made, but the floors had not been swept and there was only one bath towel for each bedroom. On day 2, my husband killed a cockroach, leaving us wondering about the cleaning service. The location was great - close to everything! Enjoyed the club house services.

Lovely home. The area is beautiful. I walked each morning on the boardwalk that circled around the whole neighborhood, very peaceful. Goldie was wonderful and always available when we had questions. Only con: no dressers in bedrooms for clothing.
