A Wave from it All is a recently remodeled and tastefully decorated 2-story townhome with its own private pool that epitomizes island living at its finest while offering all the comforts of home. Best of all, this home is nestled in the Truman Annex, a palm tree lined residential community with many historic buildings including the Truman Little Whitehouse, walking distance to many of Key West’s finest dining establishments, two blocks from the world-famous Duval Street, two blocks from the nightly sunset celebration at Mallory Square, and less than a half mile from the beach at Fort Zachary Taylor State Park. Break away from the ‘high seas’ of everyday life while you settle into for what’s sure to be a memorable Key West vacation!

The double set of sliding glass doors on the back of the home open up to provide a private spacious tropical oasis of indoor/outdoor living space with a private pool. A large flat screen HD SMART TV hangs on the wall in front of comfortable seating options. The fully equipped kitchen has all the appliances and tools needed to prepare meals at home, on those nights that you chose to dine home with your pick of indoor or outdoor dining.

Truman Annex is the most exclusive private residence community in Old Town Key West. Located just off the main drag of Duval Street, The Truman Annex is an oasis of calm, quiet palm tree lined streets with many historic homes, 24-hour staff and restricted access in the evenings where you can use the entry gate keys to come and go on foot.

Beautiful house! The house was equipped with every kitchen appliance and gadget needed. The pool was the perfect size with a sitting ledge inside, so no raft needed. Owner was very nice and responsive with any questions we had. We plan on staying here in the future

My husband and I, along with our son and daughter-in-law, stayed here for 4 nights. We all loved the home and felt very comfortable. Its clean, nicely furnished and designed and stocked very well with towels, kitchen appliances and toiletries. It has a Key West vibe with beautiful art work but again, felt like home. We did not need to buy extra paper towel or toilet paper for the time spent there. The house comes with one spot which was right around the corner. Directions on coming and going and what needed to be done were very clear. Texts to the owner, Don, were responded to fast. The best part was the location, just 2 short blocks from Duval and the center of everything. We walked everywhere! The pool is also very beautiful and there is a gas grill along with 2 bikes. There isn’t anything I can say that I wish were different about the home. There are 2 bedrooms but the couch was very comfortable as each night someone ended up sleeping on it. There is also a couch in the welcome room in front that could be used for a guest if need be. I’d definitely stay here again. Thanks Don!!!!

July 4th Holiday Week

Gorgeous property perfectly situated in a quiet Truman Annex neighborhood. Still an easy walk to Old Town. Backyard pool is perfect for cooling off at any time. Our family loved it!

This property was very nice and well appointed. The location is great to get everywhere you would like to go on in Key West. The private patio and pool were great to come back to after a warm day walking to the nearby restaurants, museums, and bars!The owner was very helpful and quick to respond via text message. Perfect Key West Vacation

We loved this home so much. It has always been our dream to stay in the Truman Annex. The home was spotless and well equipped with everything that you would ever need.The pool is beautiful and being near Ft Zachary was an added bonus.We hope to be back in the not too distant future.

Perfect location!

Want to be steps from the fun, but not hear a thing when you go to bed at night? What about a private pool surrounded by lush greenery? This place in the Truman Annex is just perfect for 2 couples hoping to get away for a few days. Your host, Don, is super responsive and ensures your satisfaction. We will surely return!

Outstanding property and host

This was meant to be a relaxing vacation and it was. The pool was perfect and the proximity to downtown was ideal. The host was responsive and helpful. Overall, it was just what I needed and allowed me to relax, recharge, and enjoy the local area.

Perfect

This is probably the best rental property we’ve stayed in. It was extremely comfortable and well equipped. Very tastefully decorated and absolutely immaculate - it looked brand new with no signs of wear and tear whatsoever. The location is ideal within the Truman Annex gated estate which is a little oasis of calm but only a few minutes walk to Duval with its many excellent restaurants and bars. We appreciated the allocated parking space - parking in Key West is generally a challenge. The pool is small but was heated to a nice temperature. Don was an excellent host - very responsive and provided a useful list of suggested bars restaurants and things to do a couple of months in advance. I really can’t find any fault with this property, we will definitely return.

Beautiful Property in Excellent Location

We had the best time at this property, which was located just a couple blocks away from Duval Street. We easily walked to restaurants and shops. The home is very comfortable, nicely decorated, and has two primary suites with en-suite bathrooms. This was perfect for two couples traveling together. The pool in the backyard was a welcome respite after a day of sight-seeing. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our vacation!

Five Star Property

We stayed in this beautiful home during our Key West vacation and couldn’t have been more pleased. Don, our host, was quick to respond, was fantastic with any questions we had and was so helpful with suggestions for places to eat, things to do, etc. The home itself was very clean and all of the furniture was updated and so comfortable, with a great, well stocked kitchen. Location-wise, this place can’t be beat. We parked the car (comes with a parking spot!) and walked everywhere the entire time. Mallory Square and Duval Street are so close, as are tons of shops and restaurants. We loved everything about this beautiful home!

We celebrated our daughter’s 30th birthday in style. This rental has everything you could possibly think of. It’s quiet, beautiful, clean, well furnished and adorably decorated.
