The location was perfect for us. Nice dead end street with kind neighbors. The host was very communicative and the house had labels to help you with what you needed to know. Be aware that the house, like all the beach front, is near the naval air station so you will periodically hear loud engines overhead but not before 9:00 am and not after 10:00pm. It was not a problem at all and we thought it was really neat. Loved this property and would definitely stay here again.

This property was easy to access in a good location with spacious bedrooms and sitting areas. We were very surprised to find that no towels were available on site. We visited off season and flew in for an event- the towel thing was a real bummer. It’s listed among the copious paragraphs of rules and directions- but we missed it. The amount of cleaning required seems rather excessive and it was a mad scramble to depart for the airport at 5:30 am. VRBO and the host collect fees which should more than cover emptying the dishwasher, sweeping floors, cleaning coffee machines and stripping linens.

Hi Sue - very sorry you felt this way. We are very up front about the 2 clean options offered. Most clients don't mind doing the few things for the lesser fee. You never told us you didn't want to do items on the clean list which were on the rental agreement and the website. To all future guests, please just let us know which option you prefer. We have only had one guest that did ask because of an earlier flight to do the lesser. Most prefer to save the money.

We had a wonderful stay. We celebrated Christmas with our military kids who live in the area. This place is in a great location!! Close to the ocean, close to really good food and the street was quiet. We accidentally locked ourselves out of the house and the owner was just a phone call away and we were able to get back in. The house is great and also functional with lots of seating. It was too cold to use the patio but it too had lots of seating. Debbie was wonderful through the entire process. We look forward to booking again in the future!!

We are a Northern Virginia family with family in Virginia Beach. We love being able to head to the beach on weekends every chance we get. We like to stroll along the boardwalk, sit on the beach, eat out, ride out bikes, hike, listen to the live bands, cook, etc. We hope you will enjoy your stay in our beach home as others have in the past. There is a guest book in the home we would love for you to sign. There is also a list that folks add to of favorite restaurants and places to see.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

It is closeby for our weekend escapes. Lots to do in the area. Short Walk to Beach. 3 Minute Drive to Virginia Beach Convention Center. Enjoy day trips to the Aquarium, Zip-Line only 10 mins away, Busch Gardens, Water Country USA, Colonial Williamsburg, Williamsburg Pottery and Outlets, or Kings Dominion. Seashore State Park is nearby. Also check out Jungle Golf.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Wake up to the sounds of ducks on Lake Heron. Enjoy sitting out after a day at the beach in the backyard sipping margaritas and grilling steaks. Kid friendly neighborhood and bike friendly. We often walk to the beach or ride our bikes, but when we have a large gathering and some folks don't want to walk to the beach - we throw the coolers and chairs and people into the car, my husband drives them down to the beach and drops all off - he then heads home to park the car and rides his bike down. When he gets back to the beach - we have chairs and coolers and umbrellas all set up. You do not have to deal with feeding the meters/attendants or looking for parking.
